Quality
I’ve been learning steel. This knife is a true commonly used mix of steels. There are others. This is a beautiful knife. It is a true damascus in the manufacturing as can be seen when looked at under closer conditions. My first damascus I believe is a damascus., solid. The irregularities of handmade knives is present and i value that. Blade is thicker than youll ever need. It fits well in my hand giving me confidence im in control of the knife. The 1095 and 15N20 will help rust and corrosion but it will need to be oiled.

Great deal for the handyman.
I was originally surprised at the low price of this product. I purchased it as a utility knife to use as I work on my property and daily chores as I live on a hobby ranch. I ordered the knife and was so surprised at the quality of the knife and sheath when the order arrived. Keeps an edge and is very strong steel. I highly recommend this product.

Good steel
I bought this knife a year ago. The Damascus has good layers, I've not abused it and it's held up the edge, I'd recommend it

Not the sharpest out of the box, but incredible value for the price
Bought it as a Christmas gift for a friend. It's very well packaged and oiled, you'll probably want a boxcutter and a paper towel handy for unwrapping it, but it's absolutely beautiful once cleaned up. The sheath is real leather, too, you can't mistake the smell! We gave it a whack at some paper, and though it didn't slice through it like butter *quite* like we were hoping, it can be sharpened and it feels sturdy enough to last. Awesome craftsmanship and value.

THe knife is great. The sheath is junk.
Wasn't sure how to rate this. I LOVE the knife. A knife without a good sheath sits in the drawer. The blade is a good chunk of steel which I like. It would be cumbersome for wood carving, but great for daily chores ranging from scraping fingernails, to splitting kindling. The knife was not what I consider sharp but the edge was well formed. One hundred strokes on my crock sticks and the blade is ready for duty. The handle is a rich dark color and is perfectly fitted to the blade. I feel like I have a comfortable and secure grip with solid control over the blade. The sheath is about as poor an item as I have seen. The snap is difficult with one hand, but will stretch out with use and be just fine. The stitching does not address all the hole that have been prepared for it. Sadly some stitching is hanging out in the air instead of being knotted and singed off (see the photos). The belt strap (which is not pictured in the promotion) is a small thin strip which is not sewed down; it is just riveted. Of course I am able to wear it, but how many times can I snag this sheath before tearing it from my belt?At this point, I'm not sure if I will return this, or carry the knife until the sheath fails. Not sure how much I want this sitting in a drawer gathering dust.
