Great smoker/grill for the money
Pretty decent little smoker and grill! I’m doing most of my summer cooking on this now. Not only have I smoked brisket, ribs, and a prime rib on it (all very juicy and flavorful!) I use it to grill chicken breasts and thighs and burgers all the time as well for quick dinners (without any worry of flame flare-up!) Grill heats up to about 450-500 on high which is just perfect for me. Not great for steaks but if you’ve done any research at all on pellet grills you should know that. I’ve reverse seared them on the smoker and finished off on cast iron and that’s okay but honestly don’t like the smoky flavor on the steaks. Especially in the fat. Just me. I’m usually cooking for 6-8 people and haven’t run out of room for food yet. Over all, very pleased with it especially for the price. Glad I saved $200 over a low end traeger.

Bought as a gift and he has no complaints. Only thing to be aware of is if this is a gift for someone know it comes in original packaging!!

Hopper always gets clogged
Grill looks great…temp pretty accurate BUT don’t believe the “cook all day” bragging point. This has to be checked every 30-45min or the pellets get clogged and stop falling. Then you have to turn it off, wait for the shut down and then restart. Definitely a defect in the product. Beware. Update: Z-grills customer care (Very kind...when you can get through) sent me their pellet brand. We shall see....
