This is being sold on Amazon UK however not only does it arrive with a US plug but the required voltage is 120V making it completely unuseable for connecting to mains power here in the UK. I understand that products are not always suitable for all markets and in this case either the product should not appear on Amazon in countries where it is incompatible, or there should be clear and prominent labelling within the description advising prospective customers of this fact.So having wasted a lot of time waiting for this to arrive, I now have to order (and wait for an alternative product) and arrange to drop this item off for return.

Like the product, it arrived incredibly quickly. A week earlier than expected, which was great. HOWEVER it is designed for use with US 120VAC 60Hz mains in mind which means it is a potential fire hazard for a UK customer. You should add words to that effect to the advert.

This is designed for use in the USA and simply shouldn’t be being sold on Amazon.co.uk because it won’t work with UK electricity, even if you use a travel plug.

Purchased for kombucha but when I went to use it, it has a US plug on it... being sold by Amazon UK with no BSI or Kite safety mark on it. Have had to return it but it does offer a free return option via UPS.

This item is highly dangerous and should not be sold to the UK within moments of plugging in it heated my kombucha to 97fI did not leave it un-manned as i feel its a fire hazard. this is another slap dash product I have recently purchased I'd have rather burnt my own money than let Amazon profit on this kind of rubbish

I was so happy to receive this warmer because I was struggling to get my sourdough starter to grow. I simply placed this warmer under my sourdough starter container and it started to grow within a few hours. The pad doesnt get too hot and can be wrapped around a large jar very easily. I have started to use in once my bread is ready to rise and it works like a charm.

I have found it difficult to regulate the temperature. Right now my Kombucha is sitting in the oven with the oven light on. When the temperature on the heating pad is set on low, it isn't warm enough, when set on medium it gets too warm. I am not impressed. I don't recommend it.

I bought both this model and the $10 cheaper one without the temp control. The one without the temp control often heats up the kambucha too hot, while this model allows me to lower the temp slightly to keep it at consistent temp. I make Kambucha to keep my wife happy, so you can bet its worth the extra 10....

Everything about this product lived up to the marketing! I purchased 2 with a 3rd already on the way. My only feedback is that the heating pad doesn't stay on the middle of the glass jar, rather, it slides down until the bottom edge touches the counter, even if the strap is pulled tight. Maybe add some rubber grips to increase friction and stick to the glass a bit to keep the heating mat up? Other than that, everything about this product was engineered beautifully, and I'm so happy to have my brews at a consistent temperature round the clock! They even include a temperature strip, which is very convenient.
