I've been using an electric toothbrush for a while, and it was tearing up my gums. I switched to this product because I was looking for a (beautiful) natural, gentle, bamboo, charcoal toothbrush and to a lesser extent, charcoal toothpaste (my teeth were also looking a bit yellow, but I wasn't really planning on doing anything about it).And Whoa! My teeth are so much whiter in just a few days, and my gums are doing so much better. I wasn't crazy about the consistency at first, but knowing how careful they were about making sure nothing bad goes in their product, and how well it works, I'm very, very happy. And I now prefer it because...My teeth are SO clean and feel amazing after using these products. I've used other charcoal toothpastes and they were messy and didn't work well. I think in part because the consistency is a little "thin," it doesn't make your sink a black mess, and your mouth rinses super easily. Unlike any other toothpaste I've used which takes 3-6 rinses before I feel like I don't have a ton of residue still, I rinse literally twice and my mouth is just sparkling and fresh, it's awesome. It's not filled with emulsifiers and foaming agents and flavoring and all this junk to mimic the poisonous stuff we've gotten accustomed to...it just works really effectively.And yeah, its beautiful! And the brush feels nice, it's just an all around lovely product/experience. Thank you for all the love you put into these products! It really shows!

I only use charcoal toothpaste once a week, and I only used this set twice. After both times I brushed, I would wash off the toothbrush thoroughly with water and let it dry before putting it back in its case. On the third week, I took the case out of the drawer. When I looked at the brush, it was covered with mold. I promptly threw the brush away, and I haven't used the toothpaste since.

I like to brush with pure charcoal powder but it can be messy so I thought this would be the perfect mix of charcoal and toothpaste but that wasn't the case this is very light Grey and both looks and seems likes it does not contain much charcoal

I've been using it for less than a week and I can already see a difference. However, I'm not going to lie: this stuff tastes like insect repellent. It's like brushing with Off. Nothing minty or fresh about it.

Every time I use it, my teeth feel very clean, and my gums seem a little healthier. I don't mind the taste. It's earthy and a little gritty, but certainly not disgusting by any means. The black is a little unsettling to see in your mouth, but it's no big deal, just be careful not to dribble it on your clothes. It is a bit more watery in consistency than regular toothpaste. I recommend it for the clean feeling above all else. I haven't noticed that my teeth are any whiter though.

If you've tried Terra & Co.'s Activated Charcoal Toothpaste, you know how incredible it is. My teeth were stained when I was a young girl by an antibiotic that turned my teeth gray. After just a few brushings, my teeth were brighter and getting whiter. People even comment on how white my teeth look and asked me what I did to whiten them. All I did was brush my teeth twice a day with Terra & Co's Activated Charcoal toothpaste. I've tried whites trips and everything else out there to try and whiten my teeth, to no avail. As a holistic health practitioner, it is very important to me that my family uses a non toxic, chemical free toothpaste. I have tried several other brands before this one and my kids have always complained about the taste, while my husband would complain that his mouth didn't feel clean and fresh. With this one, we have no complaints! The taste is better than the others we have tried, our teeth are whiter, and my mouth feels fresher longer. My daughter and I both have the toothbrushes and we love those as well. They are so soft, but get the job done.

I love this set! This toothbrush and toothpaste combination leaves my teeth feeling really clean. The brush is the perfect softness, I haven’t had any gum irritation with this one compared to other ones I’ve tried! My favorite part of the paste is that the ingredients are natural! Since becoming pregnant I’ve been more aware of what products I’m using and putting in my body so I feel great about this.Plus the set looks chic so it’ll make a great gift!
