Robinair(15300 VacuMaster Economy Vacuum Pump - 2-Stage, 3 CFM

Q: Could you run this pump non-stop for several hours?

I have cycled this pump on and off at 15 min intervals all night long with no ill effects, however, I believe it would seriously overheat (approx. 200F) if you ran it nonstop for more than 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend it.

Q: The manual is not very clear. Do you put oil in the large oil cap in front of the handle or the smaller oil cap on the side of the handle?

Oil goes in the small cap next to the handle. The larger cap is the exhaust/breather cap. Do not put oil in this cap. It will cause an excessive amount of oil mist to come out when running the pump.

Q: I don't believe the item weight is 12 ounces. Can someone please post the actual weight?

Haha... I wish this pig weighed only 12 ounces. It actually weighs 22lbs.
