Disney Tangled 12 Inch Deluxe Doll Mother Gothel By Disney

My daughter loves Tangled, and this doll looks exactly like the witch in the film. The best part about her is her awesome hair. Her clothes are of good quality and overall it's a really well made doll, especially for the price. We have the matching Rapunzel doll and the witch is a lot nicer.

The doll I received was a newer version of Mother Gothel than the one displayed in the image. The Mother Gothel I got had glitter all over her dress, which I personally don't care for, a black satin-y cape, and dark red plastic heels. Her arms are fully posable thanks to the standard Disney ball-jointed body molds. Her legs are rubber with snapping knees. I don't mind so much, since I will just be displaying her in my Disney collection. She did not come with a stand, but none of the Disney Classic dolls come with them. Her face is exquisitely molded and painted! She really does have a likeness to the villain from Tangled. I just love her hair! She has very tight, soft ringlets. I wish they had used the same styling on Merida classic dolls from the movie Brave. Mother Gothel did have quite a case of box-hair, but it was fairly simple to ease down. This hair is gorgeous for displaying, but NOT KID FRIENDLY. I am sure this would become a rats' nest in a few minutes of play. I would definitely recommend this doll to collectors, or for children who take care of their dolls. I've included photos of her in the box and out of the box.

Love the face on this doll. My only disappointment with it is that it has the typical 2 click Barbie knees, and the limp ankles. This type of legs should no longer be made by Mattel. Doll cannot stand even with a stand without the ankles buckling. Absolutely no wire in them.

Mother Gothel arrived when promised and in fine condition. I am amazed at the quality of this doll considering the very reasonable price paid. She will make a wonderful addition to my doll collection. THUMBS UP!

I purchased Mother Gothel because not only did she scare my Grandkids in the Movie, she (Mother Gothel) looksJust like someone I know & yes, she too has the same personality ...lol...Doll is made well, arrived quick and packaged well.

Very nice doll! Love her hair, amazing actually because it is so quirky it doesn't get gross like most doll hair. Dress is pretty and her hands and feet move too. My daughter loves Rapunzel so this was a nice addition to her collection of dolls and not just your standard pretty doll.

Be careful when playing with her or she will very soon be bald. Could pose a choking hazard to babies or toddlers. Otherwise a great doll for any Tangled fan.

Paid through the nose for this doll (£35+ with delivery) and then unexpectedly had to pay an extra £11 import charge which I didn't see stated anywhere before purchase. Doll looks good and my daughter will love it, but I wouldn't have purchased in the first place if I knew the delivery charge would really cost an extra £11
