Best product to cover gray hair. I was surprise how it also leave your hair shiny and smooth. This will be my go to for covering my gray. It is also very Easy to apply.

Ordered this shampoo after the “wash away the grey” stuff didn’t work real well for me. My hair is greying in splotches, and until the day comes it turns all grey/silver I’ll continue to use this dye shampoo. Let’s talk application for men (like me) that are new to hair dye. First, get real gloves. Second, ignore the “doesn’t stain” selling point - if left on the skin long enough this stuff will stain like nobody’s business. Before you jump in, put your gloves on. Then put the bottle in the sink to capture any run off or spills (it will stain grout, ask me how I know). Next, lightly coat all areas of skin around your hairline, to include your ears, with the petroleum jelly of your choice. Make it a very light coat and don’t get it in your hair. This skim coat will prevent you from dying your skin. Now wet your hair and apply with gloves hands. Work it through, applying more as needed. Immediately remove and excess from your face, scalp, etc. and once that’s complete you wait. I’ve applied and waiting for as little as five minutes and as long as thirty minutes. Five minutes won’t put a dent in silver hair. Thirty minutes results in you having a full head of uniform dark brown hair that will make you look like you dyed your hair. I’d recommend you leave it in for ten to fifteen minutes the first time, and adjust from there. Once the waiting period is up jump in the shower and rinse it out. Also, for whatever reason I’ve had poor results applying while in the shower. I wouldn’t bother. The color will last three weeks or so, and then my sides turn silver once again. I keep my hair short and on average apply every five to six weeks, though by week five my grey and silver are very visible. Finally, if you do stain you scalp, face or hands (you will, trust me) have a bar of Lava soap handy. The mild abrasives in the soap will clear up 98% of the stain.

When you push a pump, there are 2 liquid (cream) come out from the nozzle, and you mix them in a bowl. So, it's somewhat like a hair color. It has some smell I'm not used to, but it goes away in a few days. it's not a chemilcal smell, more like a exotic herbal scent. It colors my white hair to light brown, a bit orange-sh. When I used a light-colored bath towel to dry my hair the next day, the color transfered to the towel. With 3 pumps, it covered my midium bob length-hair. I see it's very economical. It didn't damage my hair at all which was the main reason I tried this product. I've only used it once, but I'm happy with the product so far. It's been 2 weeks since my first use, and the color on hair hasn't washed away. But I wash my hair only 2-3 a week. Unlike regular shampoo, you have to be careful not to stain your bathroom, though.

Make no mistake, this is not shampoo! It is hair color and developer that comes in a shampoo bottle and mixes together as it dispenses. This is NOT the same as something like overtone! The second ingredient is hydrogen peroxide, in the developer! So this is box dye, not shampoo. But on the upside it’s awesome! I put it on dry hair as I would overtone or Keracolor, and it actually does lather which is weird, but I left it on for about 10 minutes, and to my surprise it came out even, shiny and natural, and did cover my grays! So, buyer beware, it’s a very low volume color depositing only developer, but it is chemical developer indeed . This is NOT shampoo and is not semi permanent, meaning once you put it on you will have a VERY hard time getting it out, and this is VERY dark, so buyer beware! On the other hand, I’ve never had a box dye turn out so good and I’m definitely buying more for the future, lol! My hair is naturally about level 5, I’d estimate this darkened it to about level 4.

It works okay but doesn’t cover up all grey hair the way that an actual box of hair dye would. I also only lasts a 2-3 washes so you need to use it constantly.

HELLO IVE BEEN DYING MY HAIR LONGER THAN I CARE TO SAY. MY HAIR STARTED TURNING GRAY AT 11 YRS. OF AGE. NOW AT 68 ITS DRYING AND FALLING OUT. MY EXPERIENCE WITH REGULAR HAIR DYES WERE TAKING ITS TOLL AND I HAD TO DO SOMETHING. I LOOKED AND FOUND THIS SHAMPOO. IT SAID YOUR HAIR HAD TO BE WET SO I SHAMPOOED OFF WHATEVER CREAMS AND OILS I MAY HAVE HAD IN MY HAIR. IN A CUP I POURED SURE THE MIXTURE WAS EVEN. I MIXED IT VERY WELL AND WITH TH SAME BRUSH I STARTED BRUSH IT ON. THE TEMPLES FIRST THE ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER. SOME AREAS CAME OUT PERFECT AND TO THE MIDDLE OF MY HEAD IT LOOKED LIGHTER. I WASHED IT OFF ANYWAY AND ADDED CREAM RINSE, RINSED THAT OFF AND TOWELED DRY. THE FOLLOWING WEEK I DID THE SAME AND WAS ABLE TO EVEN OUT WHAT I WAS THE COLOR. I ALSO LEFT IT A BIT LONGER. MY HAIR IS NOT FALLING OUT LIKE IT WAS, NOT ONLY THAT THE COLOR LASTS A LOT LONGER THAN 4 WEEKS. MY REGULAR HAIR DYE ONLY LASTED 2 WEEKS. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AND ORDERED ANOTHER BOTTLE.

I was so excited to try a new product that was a temporary hair dye and in a shampoo bottle! My hair came out so pretty, but not even a week later, I started shedding, having an itchy scalp and hair breaking! I was absolutely horrified to see how much of my hair was on the brush! This is NOT a natural product, so please save your hair and your money and do not buy this!

I don’t write many reviews so this should say something lol. I have used boxed hair dye most of my adult life so I was nervous to try something different. First of all, I like that it has healthy ingredients and it’s safe to do on my hair once a month. Second thing I like about it is that it’s really easy to blend through your hair. It’s thinner consistency so it coats your hair easily. Third thing I like is that it doesn’t take as long as other hair dyes; about 20 minutes max plus application time. The fourth thing I really am impressed about is the grey coverage. I don’t have a lot of greys but they are stubborn to cover and I was pleasantly surprised to see all of my gray covered. The fifth thing I like about this is the smell is not as bad as other boxed hair dyes with ammonia. Despite other comments about it smelling bad it is way better than other products.

Super impressed! I decided to give this a product a go, very glad I did. Purchased for my beard as I am done with the harsh dyes and slow to show results grey away wash shampoo's. The coverage is excellent, does the trick with one application leaving the hair feeling good and undamaged no breakage, unlike harsh beard and hair dyes. The smell in my opinion is quite nice Ive read other posts stating the smell is harsh? I guess some people are just not keen on the smell? But in comparison to a grey wash shampoo or a harsh dye where you get a very strong chemical smell this has no such smell. Eventually when I run out of this shampoo I will be purchasing more, very happy I gave this shampoo a try!! Opinion: if you are looking for a substitute for harsh dyes and want full coverage with a natural color this is a must have

Love the colour and how easy it is although the last bottle I got the pump wouldn’t work on one side. I had to open up the bottle to get the product.
