I am definitely a person who loves to travel and most of the time I would choose to rent a car when I travel. Due to my unfamiliarity with new places, I need a phone holder to hold my phone so I can drive safely and accurately with my phone’s GPS. The main purpose of my holder purchase is to use it for travel, I need a temporary, sturdy, travel-friendly holder that doesn't take up much space in my luggage. My detailed criteria when choosing this holder are： 1. The holder provides a solid and sturdy dash mount on the dash surface, and suction power is strong to handle bumpy roads (while I am outdoors a lot during travel). 2. The holder must be easy to insert and remove the phone (the mount itself is also easy to remove and will not cause damage to the dashboard). 3. The holder is adjustable so that I can choose an angle not blocking my view. 4. The holder is easy to use and does not interfere with charging port and other buttons. 5. The holder is tight, not too bulky, and doesn't take up too much space in my luggage. This stand meets 5 of the 5 criteria perfectly. I would say this is the best car phone mount I have ever had. In terms of the mounting, it is sturdy and meet even exceed my requirements. The suction cup itself is sticky and it has a lock system that you can further vacuum lock the cup. The suction cup sticks firmly on the dashboard of the rent car during my travels, even under the hot day in Hawaii, and the time I went to Sahara. It also comes with a vent clip, it is also a nice locking feature, looks sturdy although normally I use the suction cup. Overall, mounting system is a 5 out of 5. Inserting and retrieving the phone is easy on this holder mount, there are two buttons there to release the arm of the holder. I also like the release buttons of it while it is long so that I can press the release button not blocked by my larger phone (s22 ultra). The mount itself is easy to install, there is a instruction guide there on the package, I followed the instructions guide on my first use. My most satisfied part is the remove of the mount, it does NOT damage the dashboard, you can just unlock the cup and take if off easily with having any damage on the dash. Another 5 of 5 for sure. Both of the air vent mount and suction cup dash mount are rotatable, so I can choose the an angle for comfortable viewing the phone screen. The arm of the holder is also adjustable, I mounted it on the center of the dash, and I could adjust the angle of the arm and stretch it to the steering wheel direction not blocking my view. The adjustable design make things easy and convenient for me, I love the design definitely. The bottom pat is also adjustable, so I could adjust the position of the bottom pat to avoid that the clips of holder block the volume buttons and the power button. And the opening there on the bottom part is enough for the charging cable, I was able to charge my phone while using the holder. It doesn’t interfere any features of my phone, definitely great. The holder itself has a great gorgeous design with silicone pat, has also a great holding feelings on hand. I like the tight and not bulky design, not taking too much space and it is portable for travel. And the cable manager is a surprising tool! The cables are always messy lying on my car, but with the cable manager, I can put the cable on the manager and the cables are no longer messy. This is a plus! Overall, I would say it is a great product that meet my criteria, and I would absolutely give it a 5 stars! It is a great travel partner for me!

I really like the iottie stand and this has a very similar design except it does not have the push-to-close feature but other than that, I can put on and take off my cell with one hand very easily. I have the option to hang it on my car vent or use the suction, I prefer the suction cup because it think this may be too heavy for my car vent and with my cellphone on it, will end up breaking over time. I didn't know it came with a cable holder, but it was nice to have and organize our cables because we have two cables in the front. The adhesive does not seem as strong as the cellphone holder so I don't think it will stick past the summer. I like that my cell can be adjusted easily and I can move the height easily as well for my husband and I.
