TomTom Trucker 600 GPS Device - GPS Navigation for Trucks

Been using it for over a month now. Real easy to setup and used. It might not be super accurate like some people describe but none of these commercial truck GPS are since they have to reroute Semi trucks from the normal streets or roads to ones that allow them to drive by. Specially low clearance overpass in highways. Very accurate and for the price can't be beat. I do recommend to get familiar with the interface before venture out in your semi truck so you don't struggle while at work or driving on the highway. Over all I do recommend this gps and Amazon deliver it right on time for my first trip. So far I haven't had any issues of directions with it.

600 Works great, but the 6 inch screen is too bright at night. The 600 has Lots of great add on features like traffic, redlight camera alerts, POI's, etc. through Bluetooth to mobile phone app, and Desktop updates via USB cable. The bugs are finally fixed on the 600 and 500 so it's a good time to buy the 500. I also have the 520 (newer version with 5" screen) the smaller screen is not as bright in the cab at night but the wifi updating doesn't work yet so my traffic always says expired. I'd recommend the 500 since eye fatigue can be caused by constant pupil dilation

This is a good budget truck gps. It's not perfect but 99 percent of the time I can find what I am looking for. I really like the ability to find things via the smart phone app and then send it to the main unit. This save a lot of frustration of trying to type things into the main unit.

I am really disappointed with this product. I drive a 18 wheeler and really was let down. I would not recommend this to any truck driver. The input screen for the size and weight of your truck has no bearing on how the unit plans your route several times I was sent down roads and streets that were clearly marked with height restrictions that were less then set on the gps. Or wait limits way u see my trucks limits that I set parking areas that show up on the map areno way designed for a truck. I honestly feel deceived by the manufacturer. If you're a truck driver like I am. Do yourself a favor and do not by this. The frustration and delays and loss of driving hours are simply not worth it.

Well what can I say, I have been using my Trucker 600 GPS for 2 months now and haven't gotten lost once. Maps you door to door and will also find less traveled routes.

Not good it's taking me on park Way's and under paths that trucks can't be in . I received it on Wednesday 12/ 7/16 which it was my off day and I started to use it on Friday 12/9/16 . I think Tom Tom should stick with car navigation and leave the truck GPS to the big boys like Garmin , rand mc.nally and etc. I'm going to return this accident waiting to happen today after I get off of work !!!!!!

Has trouble in Texas, not to mention I'm pretty sure there was no improvement to the system, makes the same mistakes my old one thats 10 years old made, only shows mom and pops fuel stops, no Pilot, Flying J, Loves or Petro or TA

Works great for use with my motorhome, allowing for entry and route planning of my vehicle weight, height , length and width. This provides safe routing with no tight spots,I.e. Low bridges!!

The TomTom has a nice looking screen easy to use once you're used to it. The problem I have with it I'm a truck driver this is why I bought a trucker GPS. My log books have to be done in Eastern Time Zone the clock on the GPS changes in each timezone. You have no way of knowing if you change time zones so you can't use the clock on the GPS so if you don't have a clock on your radio like I don't you have to buy another clock to keep track. It's too bad they don't give you the option two have the GPS keep to your yard time or switch automatically Driver's Choice

Everything runs good a little delayed response at times but other then that its good.What i do wish TomTom tom would have offered with the product is a carry case I'm a heavy wrecker driver in Canada so i don't leave it in my truck when its cold but I'm always worried ill drop it.

Great GPS with the option of selecting the route you want to take.

Disappointed with this purchase. Supposed to be truck specific, but will not let you enter dimensions over 10ft wide, 14ft7 tall or 75ft long !!!!!I haul a lot of oversized loads, so why limited to that dimensions ??Try's to send you on some weird routes even at legal dimensions.Still use my $90 tom tom as backup
