Happy Feet! Needed to review.
Haven’t submitted a review in some time. Temps got below 0 very quickly. My Bloodhound got frozen / stuck paw each time out, and I needed to act fast. This cold is here to stay. My dog has huge paws, and nails to match. No way I this will work. I found these and took a chance. Perfect fit. Perfect solution. She let me put them on. And once she got the results, my hound now thinks she is bionic dog. She puts paws out to get suited up.Pros I can tell. Neoprene allows for flexibility and fit. Gives a little for fit. Does not move or come off. Velco wraps all the way around paw and leg. Straps stayed in place and paws stayed warm and dry. Rubber sole fits flat to earth. Feel solid. Look great. Fit my Bloodhound!!!Cons- too early to tell. I’m writing because happy with the purchase. Durability? Hard to tell. They are built well, but they are they going to last? They’re shoes in bad conditions. Probably not. But 3 times out and no issues or sign of wear. They come off in new condition.I have no experience with other shoes. I took a risk because I needed quick. It was a home run. My hound and I are happy with the paradox of choice. Thanks!

Good Fit & Comfort
I am resubmitting my review after having over full month of use. I changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars (below was my original review). My dog has used the booties for the last two weeks and have worn them at least 25-30 different occasions. We walk two miles every morning, averaging about 3-4 miles a day. He has worn the booties at the dog park and through 1-2 feet of snow. The booties have protected my dog's paws from snow packing in between his paws and the salt on the street. Yes, he was clumsy the first 2-3 times he wore them, but now he is comfortable with the booties. The booties are easy to put on him, once he and I got used to putting the booties on. They stay on his feet well, while I know other dog owners keep losing booties! I don't know if they will fall apart after this winter but they are affordable, comfortable, and easy to put on. I bought a second pair of booties just in case these do not last this winter... my thought process is they are just the right amount of thickness to protect my puppy, but not thick enough for my puppy to be walking awkwardly. I do not expect the booties to last me over one season, but if it does I will be more than happy! I think my puppy started liking his booties when he realized he could stay out longer in the snow with the booties on. He is a doodle, and snow packs in between his paws and can be quite painful.---I bought the booties in L and XL. My dog paws measured out to be 4", fitting both the large and XL. My dog is 7 months oId, and I thought the booties were affordable enough to use for a short time during our first winter, and that there was room for growth in the XL. I ended up returning the L, because it was too small. The booties were easy to put on the back paws, but the front paws took a little more work. The booties stayed on my dog well, fit was good, no issues with booties falling off. I walked a mile with the booties in the snow/ice. Overall, my dog walked well with booties and there seemed to be no issues with comfort. However on two occasions, my dog fell down in the snow with one leg awkwardly placed under him. My puppy was unable to get up on his own without my help. The first time it was no big deal, but when the second fall happened I decided that maybe we should practice more walking with the booties in better weather; after all I did buy the booties to keep my puppy's paws healthy! After the first walk, my puppy's paws were dry... so in theory the booties protected my puppy's paws. Dealer delivered booties earlier than expected, and although I was able to return the large booties, my refund will net out the return shipping costs (approximately $2 and some change).

Very good initial impression, but they provide ZERO traction, making their use very limited.
I did a lot of reading before i finally picked these boots for my dog. Now that we've used them I felt like I could write a review about at least my initial impression. I have no idea about long term durability, but up front they are super well made and appear quite durable. If your dog drags its feet at all, I'm not sure how they'll hold up if most of your dog's walking is on paved surfaces. While my dog was not excited about them at first and did the typical thing of picking his feet up way too high and trying to shake them off, as soon as I put his leash on and got him walking he adjusted immediately. It took less than a minute for him to get used to wearing them outside. I have a 100 lb golden retriever, whose paws are 3 inches across on the bottom when standing up. The largest size appears to fit him well. My only complaint on the fit is that the Velcro barely tightens enough to really fit his ankles, which are apparently quite small for his foot size.My only other complaint is the lack of traction, but that appears to be an issue with any dog boot. I've seen some with rugged soles, but they didn't appear that they would fit the dog's foot appropriately. If there could be a way of adding a bit of traction to these, I feel like they'd be perfect.Overall I am very pleased with my initial impression of these boots. Our primary use for these will be winter time hiking. Once we have tried them out for that purpose, I will add more.UPDATE: My dog and I went hiking today and I thought I would update. I have lowered my review from 5 to 4 stars because these boots aren't good for hiking. I still think they are great boots, but they just don't get the job done for what I need. There are boots out there that have vibram soles for dogs, but unfortunately they don't come large enough for my 100 lb dog and his massive paws. These boots would be PERFECT if there was a way to add traction to them. They did a wonderful job of protecting my dog's paws, but the bottom on these is super slick on non-pavement surfaces. I ultimately ended up taking off the front ones. The snow and ice damages his feet, but its worse on the back. With just the back ones on my dog was able to have SOME control on the snow.I will probably use them again, at least the back ones, but I will also investigate what I might be able to do to them to provide my dog with traction.

Don't last
We got these for our dog. They were looking great until one of them started coming off from the rubber bottom. They don't last :( we are so upset over them.
