My son is absolutely loving this advent calendar. He literally gets a little plastic character every single day. Unlike other advent calendars where they’ll maybe get three characters and the rest will be paper cutout or candy. He’s getting a new character every single day for the price that we paid for it this is definitely worthwhile and we’re looking forward to getting the 2025 one definitely recommend this advent calendar to everyone. It’s just been a lot of fun opening them up every day. The only issue we have with it is they pack them in so good and then you have to try to cut the rubber band off of them to get them out so it frustrates him other than that this is the best advent calendar we’ve ever had

My Nintendo loving son went crazy over this. Each day there was a new and unique - never before seen (surprise!) winter/Super Mario Bros figurine. That was SO worth the price right there! These are awesome, well made, legit collectibles! I will say they are a beast to get OUT of the packaging and we had to pry them out each day - which meant like sticking my hand down inside the box and pushing it out from the back (trying not to disrupt the other days still not revealed yet) and trying to clip the tie-in with scissors at the same time. It was kinda funny actually, what a pain that part was. Worth it!

We bought this for my son a couple of years ago. I was surprised (and, honestly, a little jealous) by the quality of the figures. Every figure was a high quality, easily recognizable character from the Super Mario world. I highly recommend for Mario fans of any age.

This calendar is fun and the toys are great. They are a little difficult to get out of the calendar. Some of them do pop, most don't. The bigger ones, like Mario, are tied in. You get a great mix of characters and background pieces (like a mushroom).

I love the quality of the figures. The packaging is sturdy and the box is printed well. I read reviews before buying and they are correct; some are difficult to get out. I opened this from the side to pull out the tray immediately after receiving it. I have a 4 yo so attention span is limited, we can’t be trying to spend 10 mins getting these out when we officially open it. Even though I have to do some prep I would definately buy this again. Prep work I did: 1. Cut all small plastic ties there are quite a few and some are hard to notice from the front. 2. Popped all figures out 3. Put the figures back and identified the difficult ones I have not finished this part so no pics yet. 4. figures like Mario and princess peach are getting ribbon wrapped around their waist with some left hanging out so little one can grab it and pop them out 5. Some can’t be tied with ribbon like the coins or blocks; so I plan to use tape. Leave the middle with sticky and attach to the back of the item then use construction paper or wrapping paper on the ends sticking out so we have a pull tab that is not sticky. I will update once I finish the prep.

This calendar is cool. It has the different characters plus the coins, mushrooms, etc. The toys are a little difficult to remove because they have them “fastened” inside, but I would just reach into the box and help pop them out. Only had one toy break, but my son was being a little rough-nothing gorilla glue couldn’t fix. He looks forward to opening a door every morning…definitely recommend.

I am incredibly impressed by this advent calendar! The diverse Mario game character figurines are impressive. They are also very well made. Opening each days figurine was such a fun and exciting surprise. Definitely recommend this!! Just an fyi, the figurines are pretty securely stored in place in the packaging (which is good). Because of that, some of the figurines might need a little bit of strength to get out. Nothing major, but just a heads up.
