Easy Programming - If You Use The Correct Instructions
I ordered this to use on a 25+ year old Craftsman (made by Chamberlain) garage door opener with a green "learn" button. I researched and found this to be correct for my opener. I had problems programming and was considering returning. Something made me turn the programming instructions over and there it was, clear as day. Five minutes later it was programmed/paired with my opener and I was mounting it on the wall.I recommend this unit, if it is correct for your opener. If you have a mid-90's vintage Craftsman/Chamberlain opener with the green button, this works well with your opener.

BETTER THAN I EXPECTED
I was hoping it would work at least one of my 2 old door openers and it works on BOTH! I am very pleased. The directions are a little difficult to follow but pay attention, follow the directions, it will work. Both doors controlled independently from the single unit. I am pleased.

It did not work, but good customer service.
This opener did not work with my Wayne Dalton Model 3018 garage door. So the seller quickly sent another. It also did not work. Apparently some garage doors are not compatible. Too bad. It was easy to program and looked like just what I need. However, the seller was very cooperative. When the second one also did not work, they quickly offered and delivered a full refund. I did have to give them a short video of my attempts to program it, but that was easy. I did not get an opener, but I lost no $$$ and not much time. In this situation, I could not ask for a better response. I would not hesitate to buy from Refoss again. I feel sort of bad only giving four stars, but I can't give five for something that didn't work.

Great buy
Once I figured out how to set it up was easy peezy and worked. Funny thing was that when you set the door opener it resets the garage door opener for the car so you just have to set both of them. No biggie.

Genie programming confusing
I have 2 garage doors , one a Genie and one a Chamberlain. Programming for the Chamberlain was super easy and I got it done in a couple of minutes. Programming for the Genie was not so easy. There were 4 different Genie ID codes on pages 5 and 9 of the manual. Two of them involved dip switches but nothing in the manual told where the dip switches were located and I could find no dip switches on the Genie opener. Two emails to support went unanswered for about two weeks, so I'm left with trying one ID code, then another until I get the unit to work. I'm rating this average due to the complete lack of response from Refoss support.

Great product
I installed this for a 2004 Craftsman garage door opener with an orange Learn button. It works perfectly. I really like the having the option of the slight beep when you press the keys. People tend to press less hard with this feature.

Works well
Happy with purchase. Works just as well as my previous remote from Chamberlain. One small detail to know: you need to enter the code to open and close the door. My previous remote would close the door just by pressing the enter key without having to enter the code. It was more practical, albeit less secure.
