Absolute Heat Pro Ion Digital Flat Iron - Purple, 1 Inch

My husband purchased this for me as a gift at Christmas time and it absolutely amazing. I know that might sound a bit dramatic but it is the truth. I am mixed with black and white and have been blessed with incredibly curly and thick long hair. I have never straightened my hair on the regular basis (would usually go to get it professionally done if anything at all) because of the poor job my other straighteners would do (and I have had many).* Side note: The first time that I ever went and got my hair professionally done all the people in the building verbally praised/applauded my beautician because they thought it was a miracle that she got my hair to be straight.This flat iron makes my hair look amazing and smooth. This is the one, hands down.

I like the style and comfort of it!

When I unboxed this item, I thought it was going to be a pretty awesome flat iron. Then all the little things started to show. The plates are standard size but, I am used to is extra long so personal preference there but, then I heated it up. The plates were sticky and they were grabbing my hair as I tried to pull it through. The plates seemed not to be heating evenly which was frustrating. I have returned this and am still on the hunt for another flat iron.

Automatically shut off every 30 seconds or so. Returned after a couple of frustrating days.

Amazing hair striaghter does a great job on my thick hair just don't but it here get at tjj maxx for around 26 dollars .

This is only recieving one star because it claims to turn off automatically and definitely does not.
