My 3 year old loves her baby! We plan on getting another for brother and one for our cousin!We teach correct terms for body parts and my daughter loves taking care of "john" just like I care for her brother!Brother has a Rubens Barn Ark baby, it does not have genitals and is smaller. It is easier for him to hold since he is only 1.We will be getting Max and Molly next!We often gift the Ark dolls!

So cute. A 21st century Cabbage Patch but better. Just be sure you have parents' permission as these are definitely anatomically correct as indicated in the description. Great though for that 'big sister" to feel she too has a baby boy to care for.

This doll is great for my little boys to learn nurturing and be able to identify with because this is a little boy doll. It can take a pacifier and bottle just like they do. A very nice quality doll!

UPDATE: Still love the doll and everything I said in my original review still stands, but I wanted to add something about the clothing. The outfits they come in are exceptionally difficult to remove and the velcro on the back is very stiff and plasticky. Unfortunately, the hook side of the velcro sticks to the fabric of the doll. I am going to buy some preemie-sized clothes with snaps and zippers for my kids to play with instead or the fabric on the back of the doll's neck and back area will be ruined shortly.Absolutely gorgeous doll. I bought this one for my infant son and another female doll for my toddler daughter. I wanted them each to have one so there is no bickering over it as they get older and they can play together with them. I got the doll that looks most like each of them, but neither is perfect, so I wish there were a few more choices. For example, my daughter has hazel eyes and straight hair, but Rubens Barn only offers brown or blue and the hair is wavy. They are a great size, seem like nice quality, and I much prefer the soft style to the harder plastic dolls that are out there-- and I was a Cabbage Patch kind of kid in the 80s. I do wish that the clothing was a little higher quality. The clothes that ours came with (slightly different than pictured here) feel kind of stiff. Maybe they'll soften up with play and/or washing. And I sew, so I might be tempted to make a couple of outfits for them, too. I'm very pleased with the purchase. I think that these are some of the best quality dolls out there at this price point that are made for real play and snuggling. Next time I need a gift for a small child, I'm definitely going to consider one of these.

I absolutely LOVE this doll,!!! Bought him for my granddaughter's 4th birthday, she hugged him immediately, and loves him to bits !! He's a good size, tiny baby,Baby clothes fit him.he has a beautiful face, can fit a normal sized dummy in, he has nipples, belly button,anus,and a willy, but all my granddaughter wanted was to CUDDLE him !! I actually bought a baby Molly for a little 4year old girl who has severe learning disabilities,that I care for at times and she ALSO loves her Ruben Barnes baby,and after Christmas, I'm going to buy a baby Eric for myself, OOPS!!i mean to keep here for when grandchildren come to play !!!

Within a day the left nipple had came undone, then the right the next day, then a few days after the stitching on the hairline came undone & the stuffing started coming out. I requested a return & returned the item with the view of getting a replacement, however, no refund has been issued nor has a replacement been sent, so now I am nearly £60 down for this "amazing" doll that was poor quality & my little girl is left with nothing. Complete joke!! It is also not the doll that is pictured & is an older version with different clothes... I will never buy a Rubens barn product again & will be sharing this experience with everyone!!

brilliant doll, soft and with great features such as mouth that converts to tonge, nipples and boy bits. Can be wiped down with damp cloth. Clothes by other dolls clothes manufacturers (frilly lily) too long in length versus width as baby eric is short and chubby. Have now bought Molly a female version.

Eine wirklich schöne und auch detailgetreue Babypuppe komplett aus Stoff. Der ganze Körper ist weich, sodass Puppenmütter und Väter auch prima mit ihrem Kind im Bett kuscheln können.Der Körper ist detailiert gestaltet und auch der Kopf fällt leicht nach hinten, wie bei einem echten Baby eben. Füttern und fiebermessen ist durch die entsprechende Körperöffnungen natürlich auch möglich. Da die Puppe auch schön flexiebel ist, können auch kleinere Kinder sie gut an- und ausziehen.Von der Verarbeitung her, macht sie mir einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Trotz des relativ hohen Preises, würde ich diese Puppe immer einer Plastikpuppe vorziehen, da sie meiner Meinung nach wesentlich wertiger und auch pädagogisch wertvoller ist als andere die meisten Plastikbomber.

Mit der Rubens Barn haben wir eine ganz tolle Puppe für unsere Tochter gekauft. Sie erinnert von Größe und Gewicht an ein richtiges Baby und wird hier täglich bespielt. Eine wunderbare Alternative zu den ganzen Plastikpuppen. Wir können sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Diese tolle stoffpuppe ist super.Bei uns heißt der kleine Linus.Schon krass das diese Puppe Handarbeit ist. Er ist sehr gut gemacht wurden. Respekt

Für Kinder ab eineinhalb Jahren bis ins Greisenalter, fühlt sich an vom Gewicht wie ein echtes Baby, wirkt sehr echt durch die Körperöffnungen und durch die Geschlechtsmerkmale.

Mein Sohn liebt seinen Erik! Die Puppen sind zwar nicht ganz preiswert aber sehr liebevoll hergestellt und eine super Qualität! Unser kleiner Erik musste auch schon "Baden" und hat auch das ohne Probleme überstanden :)

Ganz süßer, kuscheliger Puppenjunge. Meine Tochter (8Jahre!) hat ihn sofort insHerz geschlossen. Ihm passen Babysachen Größe 48. Besonders witzig findet sie die Zunge von Erik. Er kann den kleinsten Babyschnuller im Mund halten. Man kann wirklich toll spielen.

Publicité mensongère ! On nous raconte que les poupées de cette marque sont faites mains et surtout fabriquées en Suède ! Ce n'est pas vrai !Les 2 étiquettes made in china en sont la preuve !!! Et en plus, c'est livré dans un vulgaire sac plastique même pas de boîte ! 54€46 c'est beaucoup trop élevé pour du made un china. Je ne rachèterai plus cette marque.
