PopSockets: Expanding Grips and Stands for Phones, Tablets, and Cases ( Purple-Pink-Purple)

I bought these to help keep my headphones untangled, but I actually found them really useful for other things... 1) holding onto the phone (and keeping from dropping it), 2) watching videos without propping my phone on things, and 3) playing music without having my phone inside my pocket muffling the sound. Also, I didn't mention these uses in the video, but I also use them for stabilizing my phone in the car when I am using it for GPS (i.e. to keep it from sliding around). I suspect I'll find other subtle uses for them in the future... very happy with these.

This product is great overall and makes life so much easier but... this product is not very comfortable

Awesome product when paired with a clear cover. Everyone that sees me easily handling my iPad with one uncramped hand asks about how to get one. I should be getting some kind of commission for all the people I have referred to this productUpdate: 7/21/16I initially bought this in June of 2014(when a pair was $9.95) and loved the product. I still think its an awesome product but I came on today to replace mine (see below) but I see now that a pair is $19.99. Unless they upgraded the materials used, I cant see how $20 is a fair price. It's sad to see they went the route of every phone accessory company and put huge upcharge on their product. Guess I will try out some of the competition this time around.The reason for replacement is that 1) the adhesive material has worn off to a point that it no longer securely attaches to the back of my phone or iPad case. At first there is very minimal residue when removed but over time, apparently it adds up. I have tried the washing/drying to no avail. There is not enough adhesive to cover the entire round surface, which is the problem. And2) the rubber POP part has become degraded to the point where it is too rubbery, so much so that it does not stay attached to the base plate. Like, the top circle will pop off while in between my fingers causing phone to fall.So maybe dont ever remove it and you wont have these problems. Overall though, good product but not worth replacing at $20/pair

Amazingly durable and wonderfully cute. Placing them next to each other could not support my phone vertically so I ended putting then on top of each other and making an extended support. I though it would soon fall off and it looked rather cumbersome and silly when collapsed. But here I am some months later, having shoved the phone in and out of my bag countless times and poppered them in and out frequently and they don't seem to budge. And they work. I even used the phone to hold up a magazine at the table.

Most complaints are about the thing not sticking to the phone, but I solved that with Gorilla Contact Adhesive Clear Grip Glue. No problem. That glue was originally purchased to mend the split tabs on the pop socket but the glue didn't work for that. So my little tabs are ripped, the pog keeps popping out, and I finally bought a new pop socket a couple days ago but am fairly certain it will just rip also. So I came here looking for reviews from other people whose silicone tabs have ripped but could find no one. Please tell me I'm not the only one. Otherwise I love the pop socket. My fingers are small enough that the pop socket is easy & comfortable to hold my phone with. I can't say it works really well as a phone stand though. Sometimes it works, most of the time it just collapses.

I love them! I never drop my phone anymore! I attach them to my steering wheel with a hair band and use the GPS. I clamp them to my seat belt, Use them to prop up my phone to skype & watch videos. Taking pix are a breeze, now. They keep my phone from getting ruined from spills and wet tables. The glue is cool. I take them off to show my friends constantly, they haven't lost their hold, and they never leave a residue. Best part, I haven't dropped my phone since I got them!! Love, love, love theses things!!!

I purchased a popsocket at Best Buy in July 2018. It will not stay stuck to my phone. I've pretty much given up. I could not recommend this product.

I bought this so I could play guitar along with chord charts online. This usually involves scrolling, i.e. touching the screen to advance it. Everytime I touch it it collapses.

Did I get a defective one or something?! Mine does NOT hold my iPhone X up as a stand at all. And it can't be that it's "too heavy" if it's suppose to hold up an iPad!!!

I own an iPhone 7 plus and the PopSocket has made it easier to handle. My only complaint is the specific style I bought.

Super useful. So great that I ordered a custom one from the website. Got it two days ago and it already has a pretty big scratch. Car holder is incredible though.

DANGEROUS! BEWARE! I used one of these for exactly one week and it sprained the tendons in both hands.
