Color never worked at all. Black gives mediocre but adequate print quality, and I only got maybe 100 sheets, but I'd say less than that before it gave out. If I hadn't thrown away the huge bag of empties I used to have, I'd have just gotten an ink kit, and refilled it myself as I've had pretty good luck in the past doing that. You can get about 3 or 4 fills out of a black one before it quits, The color carts go for 1 or 2 fills before they go out, but doing that and buying ink on sale is a better deal even though these guys are dirt cheap. I had hoped for better results. I just pulled this printer out of retirement and needed some cheap ink. Guess I'll have to see if Office Depot, or Staple still sells generic carts for this printer. But I wouldn't buy these again unless I was so strapped for cash I had no choice; but it could happen, that's why I tried them at all.

Not bad for the money, been using for a month. Print quality is ok and the price of these is so much better than the brand name one’s!

The 1st of the two hp92 cartridges worked fine. When it finally came time to change to the 2nd hp92 cartridge, not recognized by the printer. Though it was sealed in a plastic bag within the box, the condition of the plastic appears to have glue at the top or edge, or maybe it was melted together at the seam after filling. (See attached photos).Also this 2nd cartridge came with an eraser of sorts to clean the contacts, along with instructions to do this. I don't remember the first black cartridge having this. After wasting much time cleaning per instructions and reinstalling several times to no avail, I gave up on it. I left 2 stars only because the one worked ok, The hp93 color cartridge that came with this package deal was also a disappointment due to the short life of it as well as the colors being way off. Ex. Red looking more like pink, etc. Very unsatisfied with this purchase.

Not sure yet have not used this order, but my last order didn't last as long as the HP products.

I have an HP photosmart printer (1280) and the black ink cartridge works fine but the color cartridge will not. The computer shows a message saying that it doesn't recognize the color cartridge and therefor will not use it. For the price, I'm glad to at least have the black ink working, but it would be nice if both worked.

I found the black cartridge works fine, but the minute I put the color in, my printer refused to work at all. It took some real effort to discover the problem was not the printer, it was the ink cartridge.I put the old cartridge back in and the printer started working again. Thank goodness the black works, but the problems with color made this purchase useless. Never again.

I used them for my old printer and they are excellent. Thank you.

Only one black cartridge was recognized by my HP 3150. It was still cheaper that just one black one from HP.
