Five stars for value for money
If you're looking for an affordable set of hole saws for woodworking at home - this one is working pretty good for me so far. No complaints on my end at all.If your intent is to buy something that's going to be in use at a shop with a lot of regular use per day - then I suspect you might want to invest in a jigsaw or even just a more heavy duty kit (you'll see some listed for $60+). The blades don't seem strong enough to withstand a heavy amount of use, but I wouldn't expect that at the price point.

Makes Cutting Perfect Holes Fast and Easy
I used these to cut multiple holes through OSB and plywood. The hole saws worked the best in the plywood. In the OSB, there was lots of smoke coming out as the saw was turning. It looked as if I didn't stop the saw, the OSB would have caught fire from the heat of the rotating saw. So I just stopped the saw many times as I made my way through the whole board to keep the smoke to a minimum.Overall there is a perfect variety of saw sizes and are easy to use. These hole saws do a great job at what they're supposed to do and are a great value.

Their description is correct -- it is not intended for hard woods
This is a nice collection of hole saw sizes. The attachments are solid and fit well together. The assembly for a particular cut is easy and the hole dimensions are precise. Hoping that the description was understating the material, I tried to cut through a maple desktop for a new 2" grommet to access additional peripheral computer wires. The cutting was laborious as the wood was dense and very hard. It took about four minutes to drill the one hole. I stopped repeatedly to clear the hole of the ultra-fine sawdust and to cool the hardware. One interesting note, the depth of the 2" saw-bit was too shallow to allow a full cut through the desktop. The maple is a true 1" hard-rock maple. The 2" drill bottomed out. I was able to crawl under the desk and, using the pilot hole that had penetrated, finish drilling the remaining 1/16" from the bottom. The description from the seller is accurate. The hole saw works great on soft material -- plywood and sheetrock are easy. I should have given it a 4.5 because I was influenced by my own "off-label" task.

Not for precision. Very light wood use.
I have only used these on 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch plywood so far and am not super impressed. The little plate that secures the hole saw bit is thin; any pressure make the outside edges of the bit flare out and gave me more “coned” hole. The top of my hole was the correct dimension, but as I progressed, the bottom was an 1/8 inch wider. And that was 1/4 inch plywood. When I used it on 3/4 inch Baltic birch plywood….the difference was an entire 3/16 of an inch. I was using this on my drill press at about 1,000 rpm. And yes, my drill press is aligned and tuned to perfection. These hole saws are worth the money but not the frustration.

Easy to use. Easier to break
I dont write reviews for anything unless I'm blown away by great quality/service or am utterly disappointed. This is review is the latter. I had high hopes for this product due to all of the good reviews....it did not deliver. The biggest cons:1) This product came with 2 jigs with drill bits already installed for pilot holes, as well as 2 spare drill bits. I tried drilling a 1 3/4inch hole in sheet metal on a truck. Probably only 18guage thick, and 3 out of the 4 bits snapped in half before the hole saw got to the metal.2) The actual hole saws are so out of balance and shape so your circular hole becomes an oval mess.3) One of the jigs has a very nice pilot hole to line up with 2 pins into the hole saw for extra support and strength. Unfortunately, these holes don't line up with the hole saw when it is tightened down leaving you with a lose saw and an less that confident drilling method.Overall - would not buy again. Might be good for plastic, paper, or soft wood. For metal? definitely not.
