Seller quickly replaced defective unit – runs perfectly now
The first battery was defective and wouldn't charge, but the seller immediately sent a replacement, which works perfectly. Some tiny percentage of any kind of electronics or batteries will be defective, and I think I was just unlucky. I don't think it had anything to do with the seller. The color of the outer housing also perfectly matched my VAIO laptop, which surprised me – I was worried it would be a different color (with this laptop, the battery is part of the body of the laptop, not tucked inside, so the outer housing of the battery is the outer housing of the laptop).

Didn’t last six months.
Bought in March 2021. Have kept it unplugged to prevent battery bulge and overheating and it already is completely dead and won’t charge in August. Warranty only covers 3 months. Don’t waste your money.

Great Battery and Great Customer Service
I ordered my battery in June and it worked perfectly, maintaining excellent health, until January when it failed. Upon failure, I reached out to the seller and they immediately exchanged the defective battery for a brand new one. The new battery is working excellent. 10/10 would recommend

Great quality, recommend!
Fits just right, works perfectly. Only issue is little screws aren’t included. I easily removed the washers on the little screws on the old battery to use those screws. I removed the washers by breaking them off with a blade. I think that’s what they’re called. Either way, I’ve had this replacement battery for a few months and it’s working great!

Laptop doesn't recognize battery
The battery fit. No scraws if anyone expecting it. I had to charge it when I got it which is fine. Work fine when unplug. However, my laptop doesn't recognize that there is a battery (see photo). How will I know when I need to recharge it? I don't want to lose my work when it die. I have to return it and find another one.Update: I got a replacement and it's working like it's suppose to.

Battery does not last
This battery only lasted a couple of months and now it will not even charge any more! Beware this battery is horrible! Buy a protection plan!

Battery swell/expand
Although I got this battery for quite some time and understand the battery life will be shorter and shorter, but recently found why my laptop felt no flat for some time, the battery swell/expand a lot, afraid of keep using because of explosion concern.I left message this way as no way I can find manufacturer's contact and Amazon is not helpful either.

So far so good
The battery arrived days earlier than expected. Installed it yesterday. Sony really, really didn't want the battery removed even though it was stone dead. Once it was finally removed ( Loctite and lock washers on both screws and non-standard screw slot - applied tape to the straight blade driver to give it purchase-- the install was a breeze.) It started charging immediately and is already giving more running and standby time on a charge than the original. If anything changes I'll let you know.
