This camera is identical to Wyze camera, which only cost $20. The main reason I don't like this product, the audio communication doesn't work that well. And the biggest dislike is dealing with iSmartAlarm; one of their product (remote tag) along with the alarm package I got was defective. The customer service and support was among the worst ever. Instead of helping me and sending me replacement remote, they made me buy a special tiny screwdriver set to open the remote and reset the battery - just to find out it was defective in the first place. I regret going with iSmartAlram.

I am lowering my rating from a three to a one. I have struggled with the overall iSmart system since I purchased it and it has never worked reliably. Despite their excellent and patient customer support that helped somewhat, I continue to have dropped sensors, and a particular camera can work perfectly one minute, and get stuck 15 minutes later. Their keypad is a joke, as there are very frequent "communication errors". The iSmart cameras, and indeed the entire system, is very inconsistent, unreliable and untrustworthy in their performance.I have excellent WiFi coverage in my home, and multiple devices, including TV's, iPads, iPhones, etc. work perfectly. Even closer to the point, I have had a Skybell, running off of the same system, and in over four months of use I have never had a failed or dropped connection.When the iSmart system works, it is great, but unfortunately I am having to trash my entire system (spent over $1000 on cameras, motion detectors, sensors, etc) because no security system is any good if you cannot trust it.

Great Idea, Bad overallI had one of these camera's installed in my living room, to watch the kids while I was out of the house and generally be able to keep an eye on events while not being present.Spot ran a sale and I purchased two more of the spot camera's, Well that was a huge mistake, upon setting up the two new cameras they initially connected to the system just fine, but detected that a new software update was available and the software stated that I should install the update.Big HUGE mistake.upon installing the update the cameras will not authenticate to my network anymore so I sent an email in to tech support. They replied back within 24 hours. 10 days later they have asked me to do the same process over and over again, expecting a different outcome. The cameras failed after the update was installed, it appears that iSmartAlarm created a new version, but since I cannot connect to the cameras I cannot get the new fixed version installed.At this point they have yet to offer replacing the cameras.I have tried everything they asked me to, multiple times including taking these cameras to my friends house and trying to update while there.I have dead cameras that do not work.I would not suggest people buying these cameras.

I've had this system for about a month now, and I'm satisfied. I can peek into my apartment at anytime. Sometimes the app can't connect to the camera, which I don't know if that's a cell service issue, camera issue, wifi issue, or app issue. I just close out the app and try again and it eventually connects. I have one camera that I use in the living room. I only wish that it had a battery instead of needing an outlet. I haven't received my electricity bill yet to see if there's any kind of drain. There's an option to have the camera be triggered by sounds (smoke detector, etc) but it was too sensitive the one time I tried it. When it's triggered, you get a notification and the camera records for a few seconds. I added a microSD card to capture any footage so that it doesn't get sent to the cloud. Hopefully that is what actually happens. I know all my business is everywhere nowadays but I don't really want my footage going to the cloud in this case.

My brother has 2 of these and this is how I discovered these cameras. They're very easy to set up, and the instructions on how to download the updates are easy to follow. The only recommendation I have is that I wish the app had a screen where you can view all cameras live at the same time. This is more for an app enhancement, but overall very pleased with these. The cord could be a little bit longer, but we have them set up temporarily until we get them installed. For motion alerts, it literally captures 10-15 seconds of motion and notifies you via a push-notification on your phone. Pretty handy! If it continues to pick up motion (in the high sensitivity mode), it will continue to record little bits of 10-15 second clips. Again, great cameras. Small and discrete, only wish they came in black. I don't know how weather-proof they are but for the price I'm not about to test that out just in case.

This camera is not reliable. If you really want to be secure, this is not the way to go. The app has many problems and does not work properly.Even though it is easy to install, and the app is easy to use, it has too many flaws:1. The motion sensor doesn't really work. I have left the motion sensor ON, and when I come back, it is completely dead. It doesn't matter if I move, jump, or wave my arms, the sensor doesn't seem to notice me. The problem with the motion sensors not working is that if someone breaks into your apartment, you won't know. I bought the camera to be able to have an eye on my house and check if anyone enters my unit. However, with the motion sensors not working I won't know.2. The app has many problems. Sometimes I cannot connect to the camera even though i have a great internet or wi-fi connection.3. For about a week, I have not been able to ARM the alarm. So basically I have a camera inside my home, but I cannot activate the motion or sound sensor. So if something is happening inside my house, I would have no clue given the fact that I cannot arm the alarm.The only good thing is the time laps feature works great. But other than that, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT. Is not trustworthy and your security is not were you would want to save a few bucks. INVEST IN SOMETHING BETTER, THIS IS NOT IT!

El producto es de calidad pero lamentablemente NO PUEDE SER USADO EN MEXICO. Ya que necesitas instalar su aplicación y no está liberada para Mexico, tanto para IOS y Android, y si tienes una cuenta de USA o Canada, puedes instalar la aplicación pero al tratar de crear y activar la cuenta, no aparece el código para México por lo que nunca te llegará un mensaje a tu celular para la activación. Y sin eso no puedes crear una cuenta. Por lo que no puedes el uso de los dispositivos.
