Following the diagram for wire connection, it's easy to install depending on Ceiling fan's style.It was easy in one of my ceiling fans (Downrod Mount, first picture), but I had to figure out a way to fit into my other one, (Flush Mount, second picture)At the end, works great! Very convenient!

Remotes feel cheap but all in all very long range on them and they work great so far. Super easy to install.

These are a life saying solution for the house we recently bought since the previous owner did not leave separate switches for the fans and lights and left all the controlling to the hanging chains at the bottom of the units (not my favorite way of doing it) the only drawback for me particularly living in an urban town in Costa Rica where the power gets interrupted constantly for various reasons is that every time that happens the light comes on with power even if it was off originally! Probably an easy fix to the engineers if they where aware of the issue!

I have had to install literally 7 fans this summer alone in my house due to 4 busted AC units, yes I had AC people over from 6 different companies, and yes they're all incompetent, so, here we are. I have high CFM FANS and MEDIUM CFM fans, The Medium/Average CFM fans are flush mounts. I currently have one flush mount with the old style controller which I'm 100% taking apart and putting one of these little guys in. THESE PERFECTLY SEAT on the mounting arm for the Harbor Breeze flush mounts. Just use a little doublesided tape (I used doubled over Gorilla Duct Tape to the same effect) on the top of this, put it on sideways and it fits PERFECTLY, the wires are easily exposed and connect. Literally couldn't fit better.The controller is nice and large, so harder to lose, also simplified which is nice. AND THE PRICE, pretty sure at LOWE'S one of these kits costs like 20ish dollars, you get 3 kits for $32. AND when you're installing as many of these as I am... you appreciate a good value.ConclusionI recommend. So far so good, also I used those "IN-LINE" Wago like connectors instead of wire nuts, have not been having much luck with wire nuts, lately.

I bought this 3 pack because I had helped a friend install a new hunter fan with electronic controls. The controls on their fan did not work. Hunter supplied a replacement still no go. Our places are off grid. Their Inverter supplies dirty power. I thought maybe a universal module might be more robust. I first installed 2 of the units in our older fans. Other than putting 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb box it went great and they worked perfectly.I installed the 3rd module in the friends fan. Perfect even with their dirty power! One of the great features for us is that if you want to use the fan as a room light each time you cycle the wall switch to on the light comes on. The fan does not. The 3 speeds work smooth and quiet. I have not tested the timer function. One of the modules quit after a couple of days. Nothing. I pulled it apart. Build quality looked good, these things do happen but should not. I found that one end of a surface mount diode was not soldered to the ckt bd. Repaired the solder and it is working fine again. Hope not to have any other failures! BTW the hunter control modules work fine on my power!

It was easy to install and the small size facilitated that. The remote control of the fan was flawless.

Installed these nifty gadgets yesterday on two new Hampton Bay ceiling fans. I'm using my own light covers that I bought from Amazon and color changing light bulbs with their own remote. At first I thought oh no, these don't have dip switches and I will be unable to control both fans with one remote, but that was not the case. I'm not sure how many codes the remotes can learn but I have one remote controlling two fans in the same room using the remote control learning method and did not clear any codes. This works flawlessly. I'm just thrilled. The remote control may prevent controlling the fan with the pull chain but I'll investigate that later. So far, so great!
