INSINKERATOR Kitchen Sink Stopper for Garbage Disposal, STP-BIS, Biscuit

Perfect fit for our InSinkErator drain, makes a great seal and water stays in the sink with no leakage for a long time. The biscuit color matches my biscuit sink very well.

This works to hold water in the standard sink, its the suction that does it, we still haven't found the original strainer. Highly recommend, I occasionally need to soak something and we don't have tubs in the garage, just the sink in the kitchen and when the strainer disappeared I was lost.

Had tried a cheap plastic stopper prior to this and it failed after six months. Decided to buy an original replacement, with the hope that it would last. It fit the garbage disposal well, and the finish looked great. After 3 months of use the white enamel started flaking off. It is still functional, but looks awful. So much for spending more and trying to get better quality.

We use this with the matching color metal ring for the garbage disposal, it looks great in our beige sink.

PERFECT fit. I use it to fill my sink to the rim before activating my garbage disposal. This method is incredibly effective to clean up garbage disposals and making them smell fresh.

If your garbage disposal is some other brand, do not order this plug. It does not fit; it will not go into the drain; it will not work, iit does not fit the drain assembly! This is probably a good plug, if your garbage disposal is InSinkErator Brand (the garbage disposal it was made for!) Seller was prompt sending it - but I cannot return it, since it was packaged in plastic on a card, and I had to destroy the packaging in order to see if it would work! SUZQ
