Yay this came in the mail today and I'm so excited. I blended this with some Beregmont citrus and our place smells wonderful on this Halloween evening. It smells like ginger and not overly spicy.

The smell is not all that great on the Ginger Essential Oil. But fine foe mixing with other Essential Olis!

This product was rancid when it had arrived. Unlike other ginger essential oils this one either had not shipped well or was passed its prime. It smelled the the back of an old Japanese restaurant a week after their busiest night.

If you want a “ginger fragrance” like a commercial ginger smell that you can get on the high street, it’s best to search for more artificial ginger scents. If you want real ginger essential oil, then look no further. I wasn’t sure about ordering this, but at £2.50 for an add on, I thought I should try it, and I wasn’t disappointed at all!

I bought a few ginger oils in my aroma therapist lifetime and NONE smelled like this. it smells like mold in a bottle, i understand natural products may vary by batch and harvest but this is just something should have not been sold. I contacted Mystic moments and they just replied that they confirm its an authentic product, which i believe them, but its a BAD PRODUCT and they just decided to do nothing about it. Ill be sure to warn all my colleague therapist not to buy from them

This is nothing but an awful stench... It is truly disgusting and try as I might, I cannot smell any ginger in this oil...i wanted to use it to help nausea...but instead it creates nausea!! It's been binned and I have spent a bit more and now have a proper ginger oil. This is not value for money. Put it towards an oil that is what it says.

I expected a beautiful ginger smell you would expect from fresh ginger but what I got was a disgusting stench. Used it once and binned it. Very disappointed. I hope to fine a ginger oil that smells nice elsewhere. I’ve bought a lot from this brand and haven’t been disappointed up till I bought this.

I may have got this wrong but I make it that ginger has too low a smoking point for a boiling water facial steamer. I guess you could put it into cool water and let it steam as it warms up - that would work, or a bowl of hot water and a towel.
