I have always wanted a water rowing machine since using one at the gym but they are generally terribly expensive. I decided to buy this as it was very affordable and specifically has a slot to hold an ipad so I can watch shows which rowing. The rower was very easy to assemble. It works great at well. One thing that I did not like was the digital calorie counter is way off-it calculates 1/5 of the calories that are expected based on online calculators. Unfortunately, besides the time counter, this is usually the only other metric I care about. The other issue is customer service is non-existent. No response from facebook, email, phone. If you are willing to take a risk on a cheaper model then this is a model to consider, but if you are someone who really wants customer service if there are any issues then go somewhere else.

The media could not be loaded.  I have wanted a rowing machine for a while, and had been enamored with the idea of water resistance. I am wholeheartedly pleased with this rowing machine on multiple levels.First, assembly: it was a snap. Working solo, I had it assembled in almost exactly 1 hour. The instructions are very clear, with great diagrams. All the tools and nuts and bolts needed are included. They are machined well and everything fits together perfectly.Next, it comes with a water siphon it works way better than expected. We thought it was going to take a half hour just to fill up the tank, but the safe and work so well that we had 4 gallons of water in the tank in just a couple of minutes. No mess.Once assembled, the unit is very sturdy. I weigh just under the recommended limit of 300 pounds, and I feel rocksolid while using the machine at full speed. No rocking or tipping or grinding or instability at all. The bearings in the tank and on the seat rail are remarkably smooth and silent. This frees you up to just think about your work out.The work out itself it’s a full body blast that leaves me winded in just a few minutes. Obviously, I’m going to have to build up some endurance, but I’ve already seen some improvements in just a little over a week as far as how much I can tolerate. It excites me as I’m already seeing progress. I also love the gentle “woooosh”ing sound of the water in the tank with each stroke.The LED screen included counts your strokes, time, distance, and estimated calories.There are two items I wish I could improve: The downloadable app there’s nothing to write home about. It’s barely animated, it doesn’t add much to the experience. I have yet to find out if it can be integrated with a better rowing app. Also, the included foot straps are not great. I am on the hunt for a couple of Velcro straps that would be more secure and easier to adjust. That should be an easy fix.Overall, I’m thrilled with this machine. It’s a great value, built very well, and provides a great work out.

It’s exactly what you see a rowing machine it stores upright. The app will download but you cannot sign in it up for it, it times out every time.

First, this rowing machine was so easy to put together. My 16 year old son put it together while I was at work. (I wasn't thrilled about that but he was so excited to use it) and when I got home, I went over all the steps to ensure he got it right and tightened some of the screws. I added the water. It was all easy. The instructions were well done and we had no trouble identifying what went where.With it being water resistance, the rowing motion seems so smooth. The only thing I don't know for sure is how often to change the water. I'm sure you need to at some point? Also because it is water, when in use it's pretty quiet so I can easily listen to music or watch a tv show and no one upstairs is bothered.The rower is not so heavy that it can't be moved. We have an elliptical and a treadmill and they are HEAVY and that makes it so inconvenient to move. Not the case with this rower. It doesn't take up a ton of space either.The best thing about this rower is that everyone in the house will use it. You get a really hard workout and the time you are on it goes fast. It has foot straps that are adjustable and has an app to download to track workouts. I haven't used the app much but there is a display that tracks many different metrics. It's nice.We'll see how this thing holds up to sweaty use and how the water works out long-term. Will update my results if necessary.

This rower has very smooth and comfortable seat. It is easy to move and store. I recently had to contact customer service for help regarding an issue after warranty had expired. They were extremely helpful with helping me troubleshoot and fix my issue. I would highly recommend this brand and product.
