I've used some more expensive rigs for hog hunting and security work, but I always come back to this Vietnam era AK chest rig.For the price and the durability and convenience , it can't be beat.So , unless you're wanting to impress your tactical friends with some Special Forces over-kill chest tig. This cheap canvas rig is perfect for AK/AR/Air Soft and the like.It's a good little chest rig at a good price made by Chinese labor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

For what it is, this chest rig is good. It functions. But upon a little closer inspection, it isn't quite what is advertised. The cinch strap on the back is a very thin, cheap canvas and the loops for the adjustable shoulder straps are made from a cheap plastic that may slip free and let out all the slack that it is supposed to hold up.If you want something absolutely brand new, then this is the chest rig you want, and it'll definitely do the job for airsoft at least. It was also shipped here much sooner than expected, which is a plus. But if you're actually into genuine surplus, I recommend doing a little more research.

My son wanted this and when he received it made a comment he wished it was only two instead of three pockets because the width was too big and too wide.

It's cheap. It works. And it makes you wonder why does American MOLLE or load bearing systems cost so much more.there really isn't a flaw to this, just preferences. You may not be able to speed reload as quickly with this platform, but you don't have to worry about velcro not working when it gets wet; you don't have to worry about making noise when open your pouch (for all you airsofters out there); The design forces you to take what you need instead of becoming a Geardo, and it's light.

I really like this product, works just as it should. When it arrived and I took it out of the package the first thing I noticed was the smell......it had a very distinctive and strong mildew smell to it.

I like it and it smells fine by the way =DIt looks to my novice eyes to be the real thing and it holds 3x AK mags like a champ. It will hold 40 rounders with no flap over.

Works for a variety of magazines. Plastic buckles on the tiedown straps are a recommended user added upgrade/. I am using this one for pistol caliber carbine magazines. I can carry 9 of them with this rig.
