A Good Product with Some Surmountable Problems
I bought this watch for the onboard GPS and music storage. Being from TomTom, you can imagine the GPS is implemented flawlessly. They even built in a SmartFixGPS feature that makes the watch connect to the GPS satellite fairly quickly upon beginning an activity, which I know is a challenge for some other GPS watches. I like the ability to upload a route to the watch, select it for my run, and follow it on the watch screen. I haven't tested out the Breadcrumbs feature, which helps you get back on course if you stray, as of yet, but I think it's a great idea. I did have a small challenge in figuring out how to get a route file to upload to the watch, but a quick Google search resolved that: you can plan out a route and export it to a .gpx file on mapmyrun.com (I think it would be better if TomTom had integrated that functionality into their mysports web application, but it's not a lot to produce and download the file on mapmyrun and then upload it to TomTom). Another feature I really like about this watch, is the huge, plainly visible text. I don't have great eyesight, but I also don't like to wear my glasses when I run. I have a little trouble seeing the metrics that are displayed in the bottom-left and bottom-right corners, but I have zero trouble seeing the larger metric that takes up the top two-thirds or so of the screen. Now to the bad (though not that bad). The music feature could have been implemented better, and I know TomTom has heard this repeatedly from their customers. The first issue I had was finding any playlist on my computer through the MySports app. I would scan my music folder repeatedly, and come up with nothing, even though I had playlists built in iTunes. It took a lot of troubleshooting, but I finally found that the issue was with my iTunes settings: I wasn't sharing my library with other applications (if you have a similar issue, in iTunes go to Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced, and then check the box that says something like, "Share my library with other applications." Then, when you scan your computer for playlists again, all of your iTunes playlists will come up). The solution to this problem I had to find in TomTom user forums, it was not in any of the documentation provided by TomTom. I don't know if that's because they don't want to take on the liability for any damage to your iTunes library as a result of a change in the program's settings, but they could at least have included it in an FAQ. The second issue I had with the music was connecting the headphones that came with the watch to the watch. I followed all of the instructions provided officially and in user forums: put the headphones in pairing mode before setting the watch to search mode, put the headphones near the watch, turn off other Bluetooth devices (more on why this is a problem in a minute), press buttons on the headphones while trying to pair, etc. When the headphones were on and in pairing mode, I kept getting a message saying that multiple headphones were found, and please only use one. When I turned the headphones off, I got a message saying that no Bluetooth device had been found. This was clearly contradictory, and had me considering returning the watch. Ultimately, I decided to take the watch and the headphones to work, where there would be fewer Bluetooth devices around (at home I have an Echo, multiple phones, a Roku, and a few Bluetooth speakers), and there I turned off the Bluetooth on my phone. The watch paired to the headphones almost immediately. So I'll keep it.This is beyond a flawed design, though: that you can't be near any other Bluetooth devices, whether they're in pairing mode or not, when pairing the watch to a pair of headphones. This is 2017, and as far as I can tell, this watch was just released last year. Bluetooth devices are ubiquitous. They're in our cars, our phones, sometimes our TVs... They are difficult to get away from. Even bringing the watch and headphones to work, I was concerned it would pick up Bluetooth signals from the phones of those around me. Should I have to go around my office - or my home - and ask everyone within 30 feet of me to turn off their Bluetooth? Some of the users who took this issue to the forums said they resolved it by getting in their car, driving away from everything, turning off the Bluetooth in their car and on their phones, and pairing the watch and headphones there. Does that seem reasonable? This watch has a screen, and a directional selector button; there is no reason it can't find multiple devices and let you choose which one you want to pair with. I had an infuriating morning trying to solve this problem. It must be at the top of TomTom's list of priorities when they design their next iteration of this watch.Four stars, nonetheless, because the watch's primary functions - the GPS and the watch function - nearly completely makeup for the flaws in the music function.

Nice
Does what you want it too. Doesn't have robust features, but doesn't claim to either. I bought the music version and love getting to leave my phone behind when I run now. I had a little trouble connecting to my PC when I first got it, but I emailed customer service and they helped me get it working. I in general don't find watches super comfortable, but don't have any complaints with the comfort of it on a daily basis or while running.

Great watch with music and breadcrumbs
(UPDATE: As you can see in the comments, there's been some nice updates to the watch that have made it even better! So I've updated my review. But just for the record, my review was already 5 stars before the update, so these improvements [and a replacement wristband] have made me a TomTom fan for life!)I bought this watch for two reasons: the 'breadcrumbs' to follow where I've run (in case I get lost), and the music. The breadcrumbs work great (it is literally a whitepath on a black screen that traces your path, along with a compass to indicate which way was your starting point). I have no complaint! It's also neat when I plug my watch into my computer to recharge that I can review my run and see where I ran on top of a map, what elevations I reached, and where I ran the fastest. The music capability is good too. It's pretty straightforward to setup with itunes if you google a little how to do it. I use it for listening to audiobooks on walks and runs, and it's pretty darn good for that! It used to not have fast-forwarding abilities besides moving whole tracks. But now the watch not only lets you fast-forward in increments of 10 seconds,, but the update also now lets the watch remember what timecode you left off! This really makes the watch so much better for audiobooks! I'm really glad TomTom added these small, but crucial, quality-of-life improvements for us jogging bookworms. The battery life is fine, but running both the music and using the satellite GPS will eat it up. So if you're running the same old path and don't need the GPS, I recommend leaving it off and extending your battery a little longer. My wristband did tear, which was a bummer, but I've since contacted TomTom and now have a replacement band. TomTom'ss customer service really is great to work with.

Bluetooth seems weak
It works ok. I am no expert but the Bluetooth seems weak. It gets static if I have anything over it (like a jacket or shirt sleeve) or anything over the ear buds (like a hat). Other than that it's ok.

Do not buy the Spark 3 with headphones. while ...
Do not buy the Spark 3 with headphones. while walking and running the music skips and stutters randomly. I'm going to have to buy a different set of bluetooth headphones to see if it is the watch or headphones.

Wrist band wears out
The watch is alright. The storage space for music is great. The gps takes a while to connect if you're trying to track your run, and the watch band is splitting. I'm giving 3 stars for the watch band's durability.

Awesome!
Fits great. Feels good. Headphones fit securely and sound great. Controls are easy to navigate. Bluetooth to app works great. I'm 47 so electronics set up not intuitive for me, but it was pretty easy.

Very good running watch
If you run and love beats on the go, this is the way to go.

Basically does the job, but music set up is tricky and Bluetooth not at all great.
Quite pleased with the look. Set up not the easiest, but easier when I got it out of French and into English. As far as running and tracking your run goes, its all great, no problems. Putting music on is tricky. You have to put it into a playlist in apple music or windows media player to sync with the watch as it will not accept normal mp3s. I'm fairly comfortable using computers (but not iTunes) and this took me around half an hour. So far, so good but when I went for a run it transpired that the bluetooth skips. When I moved the watch to my right wrist or headphones upside-down it worked fine so I can only presume that my head is too thick for the Bluetooth to properly get through. I can't bear wearing a watch on my right wrist or headphones upside down, so this is going to be a problem for me and will probably keep taking my phone out running (which is part of what I was trying to avoid by buying this watch).

The watch itself was good when i was using it
The strap broke within a couple of months, the replacement straps seem ridiculously expensive, if I was cynical I would say this was a marketing ploy by TomTom I.e. make a rubbish strap and make money from replacement straps. The watch itself was good when i was using it.

Music & Headphones version a disaster for me
Ordered the music & headphones version. Absolute rubbish for me. Only downloaded a handful of songs off of playlist, then lost connection to phone and wouldn’t sync again. Followed all guides online but no good. Sending it back and won’t be buying from tom Tom again. Hope others have more luck!!!

Ottimo.
