Well Designed - Recommended!
This is a well thought out product. I wear them as my every day gloves. They are warm and do provide access to pushing your fingers through small holes to operate the camera (or phone). You'd think that because there are holes in them that they would somehow allow air in, but they do not. The holes overlap the individual finger sleeves and seal against them very tightly. I notice no air coming in through the holes. Very good design. I would definitely recommend them.

I find the loops for attaching the gloves around your jacket annoying, They flop around if not place around your ...
I purchase a size large, which fits my hands well. However, the velcro straps at the wrist are much too short- by at least 1-½" to 2". The velcro on the straps catches when the gloves are stored, making it difficult to put them on when. The velcro on the straps barely catches when I am wearing the gloves, and my wrist are not large, being of slender build. I find the loops for attaching the gloves around your jacket annoying, They flop around if not place around your wrist. Also, the tensioning device on the loops is difficult to adjust with one hand. Finally, at temperatures below 30 degrees F., I found the gloves not very warm.

Palms are not water proof, too expensive to replace
I used these on a summer trip to Antarctica. They worked alright for photography, but the palms of the glove are not water proofed. If you grab ocean-sprayed handles on a deck of a ship, your hands are cold and wet instantly. Later I lost one glove and decided that given these gloves features and price, I am not going to get another pair. There are alternatives.

good product
As someone who takes pictures outside on daily basis, I was looking for some lightweight gloves for fall/spring seasons. I am 6'6" so my hands are large, but these fits just about right.+Due the holes, handling all equipment is easy, including smartphone's screen.+They seems great for temperatures 50-30 ºF. For colder days I use thicker ones, which are warmer but more awkward to use with cameras.+At the time of my purchase mine xxl were $40, wile all the other sizes were $50.-The grip is ok; however, I can imagine it could be better if they'd use more rubber.-The rubber loops aren't really practical. After two months of use I am pleased with them. Wonder how long will they last.

Not Built To Last or for Cold Weather
$50 Gloves with holes poked in the fingertips. They cult holes in the neoprene fingertips, but didn't stitch or cover the fraying on the edges. So each time you use it, you're significantly wearing out the life of the tips. The little rubber dots/grips on the palms fall off with light use. Also, if you're in weather below 40 Degrees, you will want to buy some liners with touch tips, these are not cold weather ready.I'd pay 100 bucks for a version of these that were better made.

And they said they were the best gloves for winter photography
Wore them once in 20 degrees weather and I nearly froze my 2 fingers. And they said they were the best gloves for winter photography. What a joke. Sending them back tomorrow.

Great gloves for photographers. Makes fiddling with your camera controls easy.
These are good gloves but not great gloves for me. I think the concept is great. It is easy to bring your thumb and forefinger through the holes to manipulate the controls of your camera. For that feature these would be a five star item. Alas, I deducted a star because at this price point, the gloves should not only be functional, but they should also be super warm. These aren't. They would be fine if its not all that cold out but for very cold (below 30 degrees) weather these aren't going to be as warm as I would like. And the holes in the finger tips did give me incredibly cold fingers on a couple of occasions. In really really cold weather I tend to put those disposable hand warmers in my gloves and I must say that helps with these. If you need to be out in the bitter cold photographing and you need the dexterity to manipulate your camera's controls these really should be considered as an option. I would love to give them that fifth star but I just need to feel a little warmer in gloves.BOTTOM LINE: Great concept that works very well but the gloves themselves aren't as warm as I would like. Helps to use disposable hand warmers when wearing these gloves.

Very useful addition to my camera bag
A little more difficult than I'd hoped to get the tip of the thumb and finger out through the hole. That said, it is worth the effort: completely free manipulation of my camera controls without removing my gloves! In addition they fit like a second skin, the lining is thin, so these wouldn't work in very cold weather, but around freezing temps and above, works fine for me.
