Perfect Fit - But sand the edge first!
This fit perfectly, but I'd recommend sanding the edge as it is a bit sharp. Although I read about this in another review, I forgot and will have to figure out a way to do so without creating too much of a mess in the truck. Other than that, it installed easily (check out youtube for a video if you need to), and it works great! My research tells me that it may eventually break if I'm rough on it, but I'd buy it again!

4 yr review.
My original part in my 1999 K1500 Suburban lasted 17 yrs. This Dorman part has lasted about 4 yrs. Now getting ready to purchase my 2nd Dorman latch. Getting really hard to find factory parts for the this old girl but for $17 not a bad product. Hopefully I'll get 4 yrs out of this part again.

Fits but...
Make sure you have a bit of sand paper handy as the edges are very sharp. Perfect fit.
