Abloy Sentry PL342B .393" x 1" Shrouded Steel Padlock w/ 2 Keys, Chrome Finish

I am honestly surprised that I am the first reviewer for this amazing lock. Solid block of steel, heavy, ultra high quality and ultra thick, durable key. You can feel that this one will last for decades. No plastic - Only rock-hard polished steel all the way through. Shackle fits perfectly into the ~10mm hole of a Public Storage unit. I would be willing to claim that this is the absolute best lock that you can buy for a storage unit. There is no way that bolt cutters heavy duty enough to cut through the shackle will actually get inside due to the shackle guards once it is locked on a door. Yes, there is a video on YouTube of the shackle being cut on this model, but keep in mind the GIGANTIC jaws on that thing, the fact that the person is using the ground as leverage, the fact that they have to use the hardest cutting blades available AND that it is being cut in the center where the shackle is completely exposed.Reading up on the locking core itself, the Abloy "Sentry" line offers a highly pick-resistant cylinder core based on their original "Protec" mechanism, but provides additional environmental protection over the Protec/Protec2 cores by having larger more durable parts - Particularly useful for an outdoor lock like on a storage unit.The only more pick-resistant upgrade that I researched is an Abloy with the Protec2 core which are hard to find Brand New and typically cost $250+. This lock came factory sealed in an Abloy OEM box which assures that the keys are not already used or duplicated by someone else that is selling these used or not factory sealed.Bottom line, I would not be worried in the slightest about any common thief getting into this. They have to either be the Hulk or at the level of the LockPickingLawyer. The door itself will probably budge before this lock does.

Easy to use and provides the security you desire

I have used abloy locks in the past. This locked is very durable and can’t use a small bolt cutters to break it. Very easy to use

I just bought the lock. Hung it up and put the key on a key ring. This morning, I am looking at my key and it's bent.I don't know how it got bent. I am guessing in my pocket with other keys on the key ring. Got pressed up against something. Other keys are fine. Abloy key is bent.Who knew a key would be weak point. I have second key for now, but now I am worried I won't be able to open the lock.

I want to use it for ebike lock, but it does not appear as tought as it shows on the description, also, I want to return it, and I will lost more than 25$ for shipping and return, please keep in mind if you want to buy this, if you want to return it later, it will cost you 25% of its price. I wont recomend it, when there are there a lot of better options there

This is a solid padlock. Well built. No springs. Easy to lock and unlock. More than a bit difficult for anyone to pick.
