Panasonic JX800 40 Inch 4K HDR Android Smart TV

I like the quick start up and have no idea what others are on about saying it's slow.Sound is what you can expect from a flat screen TV so ok but not great.Very easy to install apps via play store.I like the favourite app button which instantly switches your favourite app on.Overall I would say 4.6 stars.

This is my first Smart TV - I watch sport with Now Tv which I previously used an Amazon fire stick for - I’m amazed the app isn’t available on the TV directly - or downloadable from Google play store - I gave away my old tv with the fire stick so now I’m going to have to buy another - as well as a new TV ….this doesn’t seem good

We upgraded our old tv for a smart tv and needed a 40" size as we do not like the huger sizes and Panasonic were the only company we could find who did this size as we did not want to fit it to the wall. We are very pleased with the quality of the picture and sound.

I have owned Panasonic TVs over 20 years and decided to upgrade my 5 year old 1080p for the 4K UHD one. This seemed good value for the 2021 model. Bought a separate stand as feet wouldn't fit on my TV unit. Set up fairly easy and picture quality is stunning. App support is brilliant. My one concern is how slow the remote is to respond. They really need to fix this with a firmware update or similar. I am very tempted to send TV back but will see how it goes and whether I can live with it.

This TV is great. Had Panasonic's for many years now and that's why I chose to have another. This one is a smart TV and came with a really good remote which goes direct to Netflix and Prime and something called Rokuten which you can watch free films on. Easy to install too. Brilliant.

I have been buying Panasonic tv’s for 30 years and this will be the last! The last Panasonic tv I bought I was not very impressed with, this one takes my experience to a new low. To say it’s slow is an understatement, how Panasonic think that it is acceptable to release such a slow product in the 21st century is beyond me. It can take up to 90 seconds to go through its start up procedures from standby. The channel selection is slow and the ehelp as good as useless. I have attached a Bose Solo 5 sound bar to the tv, as the built in speakers are not particularly good, and it refuses to connect fully, you have to still use both remote controls, this was not an issue with my old Panasonic tv. Friends chuckled when I said I was buying a Panasonic tv and told me to buy Samsung, well they were right. After 7 Panasonic TVs it’s Samsung for me from now on.

Picture quality is pretty good.I used my phone to setup my Google account so setup was very simple and easy, the remote is a little bit laggy but livable, I would definitely invest in a sound bar long-term if you're looking for cinema quality sound.
