Used to replace worn 40 year old ones. Can strip splines easy if screw not tight.

This is what I have been looking for. The inside of my trailer has been redone with drywall, so there is a longer distance between the gear on the window and the inside of the wall. Home Depot stopped carrying the ones with long stems, and theirs were plastic. The plastic ones wore smooth on the inside at least twice a season. These are metal; I expect them to last a few years. I wish the price was a little lower, but doesn't everybody wish everything cost a little less?All in all, these are the best I've seen in years.

I live in an RV, which has roll out Windows. My handles were striped, so I ordered these. They are made of medal. I can open and close the windows. But don't really fit where I can attach the screw.. still good for the price.

The old window crank on our window was plastic and stripped. Found this one made out metal and worked perfectly. Screw to hold crank went right in to secure it in place. It is always a good thing when you order something and it is the right part and all works perfectly.....thanks!!!

I used this to replace a long plastic crank for a mobile home built in the early 80's. The plastic crank broke and I needed a replacement that was long enough to extend the depth of the entire wall. This item and the included screw replaced the old plastic crank perfectly. The length is a bit longer, but better too long than too short. Make sure you measure your old one first, as many cranks were not long enough for my particular use case. Being metal, this one should last forever.

I used this on my OVERHEAD VENT in my trailer it's wonderful!! Now I can stand on my tip toes to open and close it (somebody invent a 6" extension please!)

These are perfect for crank out windows. They are metal or cast and have the metal teeth inside that grip the crank securely. No splitting like plastic or wearing down the inside teeth, unless you don't fit them on securely first. These will out last the windows themselves. Very pleased with this product and the seller is great. Fast shipping and response.Update: l purchased these in 2013, it is now the end of 2019 and l'm still using these same handles.
