great hot tub, as good or better than expected.
Update January 5, 2018 : been running this 5 months now . it's basically been running non-stop, because I'm not sure when I'll want to use it. No problems. Little motor still trucking. Have not had to top off the air, but it does seem a little less firm at this point. That might mostly be the drop in temperature. It's really cold now. It got under 10 degrees F this morning. It's the middle of the artic blast here on the east coast usa, It seems this unit cannot quite keep up with that, it was at 95 degrees this morning instead of 100-104. But during 30-40 degrees F it was keeping up at 104 just fine. My main complaint at this point is if you want to run it in the winter, the thing shuts itself off every 3 days or so automatically, to save power I assume. So you have to be sure you keep an eye on it and turn it back on, because letting the water freeze would probably be bad. It does take a while to cool off from 104 degrees, but depending on the cold it might only be 24h before it's down to freezing. The lowest I've seen it get and recover no problem from was 60 or so.had this a month. really really enjoying this tub. no regrets at all and one of the best 500$ purchases ive made. you can get two couples in, one at each end, even with the table in, but its a big cozy.Been running it nearly non stop for a month, and no mechanical problems. no issues with leaks so far. the walls are strong enough you can sit 4 adults around the edges with your feet in there (two women, two men weighing 140ish and prob 180/200). now, I doubt that's recommended and I wouldnt recommend doing it a lot. but just demonstrating how strong the walls are. this is not your cheesy family inflatable tub.we did have to use plumbers tape to stop one of the pump hoses from leaking, but after that we've had no problems and no complaints.it keeps the temp up really well, but it's been summer so... keeping it between 99 and 104 isnt that challenging.the filters do a good job of keeping it clean, but you will need to rinse them out every so often, depending on use, and replace eventually. The air jet bubbles are really nice, i enjoy them. it does slowly start to cool the pool off when you use them, but it's never been a problem for me. I've also never used the bubbles for more than maybe 15-20 minutes at a time. I would have really liked it if the air jets had multiple power settings, though. they can be kindof loud if you're, for eg, trying to watch a show on a tablet or something, heh. or if you just want some low key air bubbles, no luck. there's only on/off here. That and the pump connection needing plumbers tape are the closest things i have to complaints. otherwise it's performed really well. the instructions were super simple, maybe too simple. for e.g. i had to tell my wife the "ground mat" was for outside of the pool, bc the instructions dont tell you what to do with it.overall i love it. it's inspired us to improve our backyard more as well, and gotten us to spend more time outside.

Never buy a Bestway product unless you want to waste your money
Never buy from Bestway unless you want to waste your money. Spa pump worked for less than 6 months and within the warranty period. Date of purchase was 09/06/2017. On 12/26/2017 I submitted my first warranty claim to Bestway, the manufacturer due to it giving off an error code. They denied the claim and told me to wait until the outside temperature got warmer for it to work. On 02/28/2017 I submitted a warranty claim on the pump again as weather had been in the 70s for two days and it still didn't work. They sent me a new pump. When that pump arrived, it had gotten too cold again to install it as temperatures were freezing. Finally got warm enough to install it on 04/23/2018 and the pump did not work. The control panel never came on and the gfi kept resetting itself. Called the company and they denied that the replacement pump was broken when I received it even though that was the very first thing I said on the call. Now I have a $500 hot tub that I cannot use at all because there is no pump, they won't send me a replacement for the faulty warranty one plus they are out of stock on the pump which would cost $199 to replace. I really enjoyed this spa, too, and it's an unfortunate matter but not paying more money for something that failed during their warranty period. What is ironic is that when I posted a pic of it on Facebook back when I purchased it, a friend had said that she knew someone who bought one of those and it lasted less than six months, but he used it every day up until then. She must have jinxed me. ;)Update: Company sent me a new pump after I submitted a BBB complaint. I do not trust for this pump to last as they are not quality products.

Is it worth more than the larger tubs?
After several years the pump on my Lazy-spa has started to go so I bought the SaluSpa Siena as a replacement. In addition to a regular spa it has the benefits of a more tub like shape, a drink holder and integrated padded seats. I can see why it costs more. If you are buying this for recreation with the intention of using it with 2 people, I would say this is top notch. For me, not so much. I use this tub daily as a soaker. What I found is the water level is less than the round spas. With the integrated seat cushions that lowers the level another 1.5 inches. It is super long so you end up using the adjacent seat as a foot holder to keep from slipping down into the water. The end where you lean against is a little higher up probably for support with the elongated shape, but for me it is not as comfortable as my round Lazy-spa as I can rest my head on the edge and be at water level for the rest of my body. I ended up putting this in storage and just using the pump/heater with my old spa. So for me an expensive heater replacement, but for you maybe a fun 2 person tub. - I also use the foam filters from the U.K. The paper filters get used up too quickly and I think gummed up the old heater which restricted water flow.

Very nice as a mini pool
Really surprised by how much I like this. I'm using it more as a mini pool than a hot tub. We've had a couple of inflatable pools before that take up the entire patio and never seemed to warm up enough to actually get used. This takes up much less space, is really comfortable to lounge in, and I can control the temperature of the water. I haven't heated it up to hot tub temp yet so I can't really review it as a hot tub, but as an itty bitty pool I love it. On days that I plan on using it I turn on the heater and it takes a few hours to get the water temp from 65-70 F to a comfortable 85-90 F.
