De Cecco Acini Di Pepe No. 78 Pasta, 16 Oz, Authentic, Slow Dried, Made with Semolina and Durum Wheat, Versatile Pasta for Sauces & Recipes, Made in Italy

De Cecco is one of my favorite pasta brands, and this Acini Di Pepe is exactly the quality I expect from them. It tastes authentic, has a nice texture, and is filling without feeling heavy. This size and shape is perfect for soups. It cooks up well and adds just the right amount of pasta without overwhelming the dish. I also appreciate being able to find this variety online, since my local stores do not usually carry it. Overall, this is a high-quality pasta from a brand I trust, and I would happily buy it again.

We use this to make pastina. A fruit salad my mother made for family gatherings. Impossible to find in our local groceries. Well worth the cost. Very versatile pasta.

Quality product, I can’t find in my local stores

Saw a recipe for a refreshing dessert called frog eye salad. It needed this pasta and i wanted to try it. The salad was delightful and the pasta came in a timely manner, other than being a day late.

I love these little things. Together with collage in chicken broth made an excellent union. It’s an Italian appetizer soup. No have 2-3 times a week

I was afraid pasta so tiny would cook in about 2 seconds and get instantly mushy, but not at all. It took a normal amount of time to cook and was perfectly al dente, even after the soup sat in the fridge a few days and was then reheated violently in the microwave. Find a suitable strainer before you cook it, as it will go right thru the holes in most strainers. Super fast & easy: the pasta + couple cartons of chicken stock, bag of frozen Italian meatballs (cut into quarters after cooking for smaller meatballs), bag of fresh spinach chopped up, & a few carrots, chopped into small pieces.

The pasta is good but unfortunately the packaging needs an upgrade. The pasta fell out of the box and got everywhere. The box wasn't opened, it's just that the pasta is so small it leaks through the seams. Maybe put it in a plastic bag.

This pasta you can’t find in all stores.Amazon has it.Its great for adding to home made soups.I would suggest you cook it in a separate pot with well salted water till tender.Drain not so dry and add a few tbsp of olive oil or butter to keep it from clumping.Container it separately. Add to soup when heating soup up.Great for eating with chewing or sore throat problems.Toddlers food.
