HIQILI Sandalwood Essential Oils for Perfume, Diffuser & Skin Care

Best sandalwood I’ve found, I’ve also reached out to get some documents for the sandalwood since I sell it in roll on blends & confirms the origin is from India & it’s pure sandalwood! I’m really pleased I finally found a company that has this! It smells amazing! People commenting that they don’t know if it’s real or not, doesn’t know that REAL sandalwood smells AMAZING! And that perfume/cologne smells LIKE sandalwood not the other way around. After trying different brands this one is the best & they’re super professional with their documentation. THANK YOU HIQILI!!

I bought Hiqili Sandalwood oil after using the P&J sandalwood for years. While I liked the P&J fragrance oil, it was more expensive. Admittedly, I initially wasn't crazy about the smell of the Hiqili oil. I found it to have a more smoky and earthy scent, and has a less sweet smell to it, than the P&J sandalwood. I'm guessing that is in part because it is an essential oil and not a fragrance oil. P&J is listed as a fragrance oil. It mixes well with other scents. I've come to really like the Hiqili sandalwood oil and it's now my go-to. I use it in diffusers, with other fragrances like cherry blossom. Another plus for the Hiqili oil is the packaging. I purchased the larger 3.38 Fl Oz bottle. Along with everything being well padded and secured, it came with a larger dropper and a smaller bottle with a dropper for travel. I would highly recommend this oil for its high quality at an affordable price. I will definitely be trying their other oils as well.

I’ve been on a quest for a nice light calming sandalwood scent that is the one I’m used to in all the sandalwood-scented products and perfume oils I’ve used in the past. My first purchase from another brand/seller smelled awful-like cheap perfume. So I moved on to this one. While it is not the exact sandalwood scent I was looking for, it is conveniently an exact dupe of my favorite perfume which costs $125/100ml. If you’re familiar with Commodity’s Book (expressive), this smells EXACTLY like that. So while the hunt continues, I’m actually super happy that I bought this because now I can add it to lotion to match my favorite perfume and mix it with a carrier oil when my travel bottle of perfume runs out. So even though I didn’t get exactly what I was hoping for, I feel like I actually got something better.

This is not a true pure sandalwood. However, it is still quite pleasant. Sandalwood is distinctly warm buttery and earthy. There's a little of that in here but it is missing the lower notes and has replaced it with higher, softer, almost powdery notes. I think of sandalwood as neutral with a slight masculine lean. This has a more feminine lean, tho not strongly so. Its very pleasant in the diffuser. I like to add a little cedar and bay laurel to balance it back to a more neutral to masculine lean, which fits my guys study room aesthetic. My mother pairs it with bergemot and a drop of cardimom or neroli for her sitting room. It makes a good versatile base scent that plays well with others.

So far 5 stars. It smells so good. Bought asa base for some perfume I'm making. I'm not a big fan of vanilla, but damn it smells good

Used this to make an oil perfume up. I’d never gone with this brand before but it is a lot of oil for the price. Would recommend.

So I ordered 5 different essential oils, today I got 3 out of the 5 in mail and this is my review of them. I ordered from this buyer because they say they are therapeutic grade which is what I wanted for my small business. I ordered the bigger sizes and they all have come packaged very well with no spills/leakage. They also all come with a dropper and smaller bottles. Vanilla: smells like a mix of vanilla and hexane, and then the smells disappears after 15min leaving just a trace of hexane behind. The other reviews raved about the vanilla so I was really excited to try it. This just shows a lack of consistency in their extraction process. Sandalwood: smells fantastic, smells exactly like sandalwood, so far it’s been a couple hours and the scent is still there, very excited to use in my body butters, and scrubs Ylang ylang: like the vanilla it smells like a mix of ylang ylang and hexane. However unlike the vanilla after 15min once the smells disappears of the ylang ylang disappears the smells of the hexane is VERY strong. So much so that ive washed my hands and can still smell it, and it’s starting to make me nauseous. Again lack of consistency in the extraction process. Some quality control needs to be done I’ll update this review once I get my Lemon and Ginger in the mail in a few days, but right now I don’t have high hopes.

This is not Sandalwood oil. It's a fusion product with mixed notes. Don't expect anything close to Sandal in this product. Had to buy and return.

Love this! Sandalwood is such a nice scent and I even put some on on a stick in my car for it to smell nice.

Wow I will never buy a small bottle or wildly priced essential oil again! The value for money here is incredible and the smell is divine. I was curious to see how these would compare with the well known EO brands but I have to say I love these more. The liquid is thinner and more concentrated, I can’t believe how long these bottles last and we use them every day in 3 diffusers around the home, as well as mix perfume oil with fractionated coconut oil.
