A major consideration
While I am reviewing vivobarefoot in general, I haven’t had a chance to break in these exact shoes yet. I wanted to share my experience with this brand to forewarn anyone considering the Vegan shoes/boots by this company. The style and concept of their barefoot shoes is awesome! The performance has been below average for this brands boots (vegan). I have purchased at least a dozen pairs of shoes/boots from this company. The vegan model is awesome and it’s hard to find a company who gets the concept of alternative materials to animal skin. The vegan materials themselves have held up! The construction has not. The seems on every single boot I’ve purchased from vivo have failed before a year, in some cases before the 6 month mark. A current pair I’ve had for about 6 months with average wear and tear...hiking/walking, not even wearing them daily have failed. My feet are soaked walking from building to car during first heavy spring rain...for shoes that all cost well over $100 this is pretty unacceptable. I’ve had 2 pairs of the Gobi, a hiking boot, and waiting for a winter boot to arrive for an upcoming late fall trip to the mountains. Needless to say I’m considering whether to even trust the winter boots I have coming. Am I the fool for continuing to give vivo a chance? Probably. I’ve seen many other reviews with the same concern about shoes failing at the seems. I want this company to succeed as I believe in their goal of producing recycled, consumer conscious products. But they need to back that up with quality manufacturing, which they simply have not. I’ve waited several years and many many different shoe purchases to leave these comments. Hope the company can improve upon this common flaw because they have a lot of other great things going for themselves.

Premier Shoe, Expensive but Worth it.
So far I have only had these shoes for 48 hrs. They are from that bias and perspective, later will probably be an update on how they wear fully. I have owned Vibrams FFs, Merrell Trail Glove 4s and tried the Vapor Glove 4.They are sturdy, and feel premier when wearing them with gel-like surfaces on the inside and on the lips of the shoe around the heel. Some hate the color, but it's different; for the way they are built the color makes sense. They are truly zero drop, and the removable soles are comfy. Add light support for begineers wanting to transition but it's still recommended that people who have worn minimalist shoes before purchase these. Taking soles out makes it a true to the ground experience. Still very enjoyable at the moment.Lots of toe space and fits well everywhere else, however you have to choose the correct sizing based on centimeters on the size chart so knowing your size beforehand is a good preparation when deciding what size to buy. I wear a 10.5 and had to go for a 9 or 26.9 cms. A lot have made the mistake to get the wrong size and be disappointed.I will note the shoe is quite expensive compared to it's competitors but it is worth the money in itself. Will update later.

Sizing is so ass a nine I'm lost for words.
Men's euro 42 converts to 9 in American sizing... I bought some 42's and and they almost fit my friends size 12 TWELVE feet. They were literally a full in too long inside the shoe. What in the flying F$&#?!?!?!?

My feet are happy
After 3weeks of wearing these exclusively I m loving these shoes. Less fatigue in calves and legs. Order 1 size up originally but ended up having to size down from 45 to 44. Usually wear an 11.5 shoe

Highly recommend
Love how lightweight yet durable they are. My favorite training shoe and “taking the dog for a walk” shoe. I’ve noticed significant increase in ankle strength and calf development since wearing and training in them

Will be buying more Vivobarefoot shoes in future.
A few months of liberal use this shoe is still exceeding what I expected.

Good vivobarefoot sporty shoes.
Great shoes, I have the old primus lite and need to update for my exercise classes after 1000's of hours they're still going strong but the new ones are vegan so don't have the leather insole which tge old ones had and starts to go off with lots of sweaty workouts i teach!

A bit large
Excellent quality but as some other reviewers have mentioned they are a bit on a larger side. I am UK size 12 and ordered size 12 but they are bigger than most other size 12 shoes.I am keeping them because this will still work with thicker socks and the price was good at the time.

Schade eigentlich...
