63614 RawEdge Lawn Edging, Raw Steel

There were supposed to be steaks in the box and there were not. I need to order two more boxes but I'm going to have to make contact with the shipper and see why they were not there.

I bought 6 packages of this product in 2020, saving hundreds of dollars off the nearest comparable product at the big box stores. I was specifically looking for raw steel product that would rust, as that was the aesthetic I was going for. (Even the coated products you buy eventually rust, I figured why not let nature do what it wants.) It was a bonus that this is an American company manufacturing in America using American steel. The product was super easy to install. For sharp corners, I used tin snips to nick the top and bottom of the panel, allowing a perfectly crisp corner. It bends easily to form curves. The staples that join the panels aren't the most seamless of connecting solutions, but you don't notice them once installed unless you're intentionally looking. A year later, the edging is in fantastic shape, with a beautiful rusted patina. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It was, quite literally, the cheapest solution, by far, and it looks fantastic.

I have hundreds of feet of this product. I’ve had to cut some at times (which is more work) and these work well around trees. The price of 2 of this product is relatively the same as 1 package of the 8 foot lengths. If you haven’t noticed, they are sold out of everything but this product. For the price of raw steel it’s a good deal. It can be a bit difficult at first, but once you get used to bending the material, it’s easy to install. The thick steel takes the weight of my Ztrac and edging is a breeze. Looks very nice and it gives the plant beds a nice rustic look with pop/definition. I’ve tried other brands, but they don’t have the same quality feel. I think it’s the weight, this stuff feels solid/beefy. Recommend. I’ve got 2 in my cart as I type. Cheers.
