Simple install. Researched many different brands. We have two Blink stations at the hotel my family owns in Phoenix Arizona, GoClarendon.com the units have been installed for about three years. Get used everyday. Have stood up the the harsh elements of being outside in Arizona. Being used by a variety of different cars. So I knew the quality was outstanding. The Blink has everything we were looking for; long 18' cord, delay timer,simple wiring. Installation took about an hour. Unit comes with a cord tender. This is a direct wire unit. From your breaker, you simply connect one supply line to the terminal marked L1, the other line goes to a terminal marked L2. Then a ground wire to the terminal marked by the grounding symbol.For wire from the 30 amp Breaker I used red number 10 THHN ( stranded Wire ) . For the ground wire I used green number 12 THHN wire. I used eyelet terminals to crimp on the ends of the wire. I purchased them at a big box hardware store. This made for a super clean and fast install. I used non metalic seal tight to run from my junction box. To the unit. I used 3/4" with seal tight connectors. The pass through hole on the unit is 1" I used a 3/4 to 1" bushing to make the connection a breeze.It performs great. The Fusion now charges in about 2 hours , great for weekends when running lots of errands. We can get a full charge in between trips. Keeping the Fusion in the electric mode as much as possible. Our mileage is usually in the 85 mpg range. The cord is nice and long we can charge in the drive way or in the garage. Quality and appearance is great.I recommend this unit to everyone. I was concerned about not spending more on an at home charger. I thought I may regret my purchase being my first EV vehicle. I don’t have a Full EV vehicle. I have a Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Which is a plug in Hybrid. My Jeep has the ability internally to set charging preferences. I’m not sure if all vehicles are that way. If I had a Tesla or something that can Supercharge I would probably have bought different. My plug is a J1772 and this charges my Jeep in just over 2 to 2.5 hrs. It’s easy to look at and doesn’t take up much space. I have been using it for 3 mos and have 0 regrets. I would absolutely recommend this product for a vehicle that charges with a J1772.

Great, reliable charger. You'll need an electrician to install it and they will probably need to wire in a new 40A circuit in your electrical panel. It uses the same 240v that a dryer uses (if you've switched to gas and still have that dryer electrical circuit in your panel, you can hook into that). But hey, that's the cost of getting a level 2 charger in your garage. What took around 14 hours on our plug in charger, now takes a little over 3 hours. This isn't a big deal if you only drive 40 miles a day and you're at home every night with the car sitting in the garage for 14 hours. But any more than that, and you'll want one of these babies. It's rated at 7.2 Kw so you can take full advantage of the 6.6kw charger in you vehicle (Fiat 500e, Ford Focus, Honda Fit, Nissan LEAF).Blink is recognized as a leader in "on the road" charging also, offering level 2 and, occasionally, level 3 chargers. They offer reasonably priced charging plans that you can access with a card. Unlike some providers who charge flat fees per charge or require monthly memberships, Blink just charges you for the power they supply your car when you charge up. They are fairly prevalent around cities (drugstores, department stores, etc install these) so it is pretty easy to make use of the $100 charging credit. In fact, a few days after I purchased this unit, Blink customer support called me and made sure I had an account and that the credit was available. Easy.With other chargers running several hundred dollars more expensive, this 30A charger is very reasonably priced. And the delay timer allows you to charge at night and pay less IF you have switched to a time of use plan with your power company. I plan to do this soon as the LEAF is one of the primary users of energy in our house, and overnight rates are half that of daytime use.

This is the perfect level two charger for you if you want a very high-quality no-frills product at a fair price. This does not have any kind of smart features, but I didn't really want any as my car has all the tech I need. You can schedule charging levels, times, and everything else from my car app so no need to pay extra for the charger to have those same features. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased two chargers for my vacation properties. They were great for a couple of months, until we had a power outage. After that outage, they've both flashed red "recoverable error" signals. I contacted support, we went through all the troubleshooting steps and confirmed that these units are toast. Blink explained that this was a known problem, and that they'd ship me two new units, as both were well within the 1 year warranty period. Nearly a month later, I still don't have my replacement units, and nobody's responding to my follow up emails or calls.
