Igloo 6.9 cu ft Upright Freezer, White

Recieved freezer damaged. Reported to both Amazon and Manufacturers. I was offered from the Manufacturer 10% return on my money for keeping the damaged freezer, this equals out to $22.50 savings. If I choose to return my wait time for a new one would be June 2018, more than 5 months off. I choose to keep the freezer because of time frame and my mother was not doing well so family was cooking up meals and we needed a freezer. I will say that freezer has a tight seal, rooming is nice and stays very cold.

This freezer was exactly what I wanted. Inexpensive and does the job. Like stated in many of the other reviews it apparently received rough handling during shipping as the top cover is cracked/broken, but that is relatively unimportant as it doesn't effect the function, and the unit isoutside on my covered back porch. I would buy another.

The freezer is the perfect size for our needs. It came 4 to 5 days earlier than we were expecting., which is good, but we were not home. The freezer has some damage, it's runs fine and quiet, but there are some dings? It looks like it may have been dropped.

I was so excited to get this perfect sized freezer. It lasted 8 months. The warranty company has been making me jump through hoops for 2 months. They want tons of pictures and info. They are in Canada by the way. I sent all requested info and it took 3 weeks to get a response and that was after several calls. Now I have to cut the cord and send it along with pictures of me having hammered the doors and sides in and steamed off the serial info. It will cost me $45 to send to them. Did I mention I 75 years old. UGH

Poor design, door hinge is built into thin plastic top cover held to unit by 3 screws. Received with what I thought was minor damage to base, shipping is rarely without some dings especially with a unit this size. Damage had cracked the screw mounts on the top cover, the door came off in my hand with less than 60 days use. The unit had worked very well up to that point. After some communication exchange with the seller a return label was sent and unit returned. WILL DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SELLER AGAIN! Just not this freezer.

I absolutely love this little freezer! I also loved the fact that it was delivered direct to my door! Since we live in a small remote town that was an absolute bonus! I turned it on to the highest setting as the instructions said to do and let it cool down for 2 hours and then I set it on a lower setting as advised. Mine is set on 1. I highly recommend this freezer to everyone!

Unlike other reviews it did not arrive damaged. Exactly what I needed. Not super big but holds a lot of food for two people. The vacuum seal door is a great feature typical of commercial freezers. It does seem to cycle quite frequently. So I'll be curious to see my next electric bill. Overall very satisfied.

Oh, my gosh! I came home after 7 weeks to find my old chest freezer full of venison, boar and lamb sludge. Yep! The power had gone out for just a few minutes during the first week I was gone. I never want to go through that putrid experience again (or the lack of organization of the chest freezer). I am soooo thrilled that I can store meat in pans on the shelves (in the event of another meltdown), and can organize vegetables, ice cream separately for easy access. I will NEVER go back to a chest freezer again.
