Caseology Skyfall for Apple iPhone 8 Plus Case (2017) / for iPhone 7 Plus Case (2016) - Clear Back & Slim Fit - Jet Black

I bought the rose gold color for the 7 Plus directly from caseology as the seller with Amazon Prime. Case came exactly as pictured and color was a perfect match. Cutouts match up perfectly and I appreciate the extra space at the jack to include the signal spots. This is a great case and the material seems rubberized around the sides wrapping around to the front. I can easily set my phone down and not worry about the screen touching down. The lip is well raised around the front to give me enough comfort to plop the phone down and not worry or think twice. In the past, I've dropped my phone (with a case on) so when buying a case, I know first hand how important the corner bumpers are. This case is see thru around that part and you can see that it looks as though caseology has put in the extra effort to design this case with a sort of corner pressure point deflector, if you will. I will include as much as I can in the photos. It came in a box, I took it out and popped it on my phone without any trouble. This case also removes easily off the phone when it's deliberate, as well. I've had cases in the past that do not remove unless you nearly break it to get it off. All and all, yes, this is worth the purchase.

I have to say, this case is way better looking then I expected!. The color matched PERFECTLY and I've had many compliments. I wanted a case that would protect my phone and also look nice and not bulky. This case does exactly that!

It looked soo good initially. The silver color perfectly matched with my iPhone and I loved the looks, however, the looks did not last long. The color faded in less than 5 months use. It faded unevenly and took on a rusty hue, making my phone look like 5 yrs old. As much as I loved it initially, I hate the fact that I am having to replace this case with a different one (vancin) in less than 6 months. Only complaint I have is with the fading of the color though. It is a sturdy case and offers great protection. Fits well and feels comfortable in hand. Sadly, it changed the looks from great to ugly in just a few months and I'm having to spend 15 bucks on a case again..

I prefer slim and simple cases yet found this case to be too bulky for my liking, yet still kept it because of the overall design. The clear panel paired with the metal border were aesthetically appealing, until I realized that the border wasn't actually made of metal but of plastic.After having the case for a year, I can say that it has certainly protected my phone from danger along with a screen protector, but overall, I find the product to actually be mediocre, which is such a shame, considering how much I do like Caseology's products.The product has one fatal design flaw and that is the fact that the border and the hardshell aren't actually one piece, but two separate pieces altogether. Within the first few months, I found the border actually popping off of my case. I figured I must have a defect, and yet I still kept the case. After about 7 months of use, The bottom portion of the plastic border which boasts the company's logo broke off entirely which caused the entire border to fall off.I ordered another case to give it a shot, yet hear I am, 3 months later with my new case and I'm already having the same problems as last time. It's such a shame, because it is such a pretty case.

Coming from a mom whose 2 year old has dropped/thrown my iPhone 7 in the parking lot/driveway/store numerous times, this case has proven its worth. 👍🏼 My phone screen has remained unbroken. I would compare this to my old Otterbox which was bigger and bulkier for my iPhone 6, and this one is much thinner but seems to protect just as well. 😳👌🏼

Hurrah! Final a functional clear case for my new iPhone 7 Plus. I've been looking for one for a month and already returned three much more expensive ones. This is excellent value for the quality, does exactly what it says it does, and shows off your new phone beautifully. Here is what I love about it:- The back is clear, not frosted- The pink outer edging matches the phone perfectly- Has raised edging lip to protect screen AND raised lip area around camera- The case is light, not heavy, and not bulky - very slim overall- Grippy material around the edges, so your phone does not slip out of your hand- All the right holes and buttons, which all work- Caseology logo is discreet- The case has clear plastic back, and a silicone inner lining around the edges to protect phone from shocks and bumps, with extra squishy cornersAny downsides? Only one, which is that the protective film on back and front is really hard to figure out how to peel off - the film does not have a "flip up" corner, so I had to scratch at one corner with my fingernail to even find the beginning of the film to be able to peel it off. But I did, no damage, so all good. Worth the effort given how well this case works!

This case may be good for the aluminum style body, but it sticks to the iPhone 8's glass body causing the appearance of water being in the case. The point of the clear case was to accentuate the natural appearance of the phone but the soft plastic back is not suited for the 8 Plus and the sticking has a negative affect on the appearance.

I’m going straight into the negative DO NOT BUY THIS CASE IF YOU INTEND TO COVER THE NEW PRODUCT RED IPHONE 8 PLUS WITH IT. I purchased this case because I wanted to show the beautiful glass back, unfortunately this case does not fit the glass back 8 plus properly. It was very hard to get on and straight away I felt that this may not go well, once it was on I noticed a very long air bubble which would not go away. I took the case off which was a complete nightmare, at one point I thought I might damage the edges of the phone it was so tight. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of the case in fact it’s very well made and very sturdy but unfortunately I believe it is best suited to the aluminium back of the iPhone 7 Plus and does not take into account the thickness of the glass back on the 8 plus. I sent Caseology an email which I am still waiting a reply.

So far so good. I like this case more than any of the others I have tried. (I have tried plenty!) It fits well, shows the colour of the phone through the clear back, is raised a few millimetres around the camera lens area, so you can put it down without scratching the glass. Although this should be standard on all cases, it is in fact rare to find which is ridiculous. Who wants to spend £800 on a phone and scratch the lens of the camera within a few days? The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I have a slight doubt that the red strip around the edge will eventually come off. It is snapped into position, and not actually fixed. Overall though, this is the best case that I could find on the market. In my humble opinion it is better than the iPhone ones, which have the lens issue, and better than Otterbox where I couldn't press the on-off button with the case on. If the red strip proves to be no problem in a few months time, I will come back and update this to a five star.

Having just upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an 8, I wanted to keep the same case. The skyfall has kept my 6 plus in pristine condition to resell so I ordered again. Only thing that is bugging me is the rainbow oil type shimmer on the back. Been trying to clean it all day. Would rather a totally clear view of the beautiful glass back on the 8 plus but guess it’s my fault some how 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is my second purchase of this product, to replace my old one that i’d had for a year and a half. Very sturdy and works great. The old case was only replaced due to the fact it had collected quite a lot of dirt and I couldn’t wash all the grim away, but was very happy buying a replacement at this cheap cost. I drop my phone constantly on the screen and this case works miracles to stop the screen cracking due to the bumper edges. I would recommend this product to anyone and I don’t think i’ll ever buy another phone case from a different brand

Recently purchased a new iPhone 8 Plus and needed a sturdy good reliable case and seen so many good reviews about caseology so just went for it, item came today about 1 hour ago and I opened the box only to be really disappointed as the bottom part of the case was snapped/broken whatever word you want to use, I had high hopes for this case but once again I am very disappointed, going to return my item and get a refund and use another company. I’m hoping this is just a one off and they don’t send products out in this condition all the time.
