Easy, Even Coverage That Actually Holds Up
This paint is amazing. It goes on extremely easily and makes it simple to get smooth, even coverage without having to fight with the product. It works especially well for covering larger areas quickly. The color applies evenly, builds nicely, and holds up well even with sweat or a little water. I was also impressed that it applied well over areas with some hair, such as unshaved arms, without looking patchy. If you need face or body paint that gives solid coverage, applies smoothly, and stays put better than cheaper options, this is absolutely the way to go. Overall, I am very happy with it and would buy it again.

Indomitable Champion of Lasting Coverage
When it comes to makeup that's going to withstand the rigors of a high-energy, sweaty event, your options are generally limited. We're talking about an environment that's the ultimate stress test for any cosmetic product, demanding resilience, longevity, and a no-smudge formula. Ladies and gentlemen, in the cacophonous realm of cosmetics, Mehron Makeup Paradise has emerged as an unassailable leader. Let's address the longevity. At a roller derby do, a cacophony of high-speed action, tightly packed bodies, and soaring temperatures, I put this product through its paces. Despite the humidity and the inevitable sweat, not once did I find myself with smudged or faded makeup. The color stayed as vibrant and well-defined at the end of the night as it was at the beginning. Application was a dream. Many products that promise long-lasting coverage often sacrifice ease of application, requiring professional skills to get it just right. The makeup glided smoothly over the skin, providing excellent coverage in a single swipe. There was no need for reapplication or touch-ups, which is often a tedious necessity with lesser brands. One of the most significant marks of a high-quality makeup product is the finish. Cheap products often betray their inferiority by caking or clumping. This formula offers a smooth finish that looks as good up close as it does from a distance. Whether you're across the roller derby rink or taking a selfie, the makeup retains its impeccable appearance. Another feature that cannot go unmentioned is the ease of removal. A makeup that stays on well but requires an industrial solvent to remove can be a deal-breaker. Luckily it excels in this regard as well. Despite its durable formula, the makeup came off effortlessly with cleanser, negating the need for any harsh scrubbing that could irritate the skin. It truly astounded me with its performance. From its superb longevity to its simple application and removal, this product ticks all the boxes for what one would want in a high-endurance makeup. Sorry for the terrible photo, it was the only photo I could find. I used light blue and was Monster High Roller Maze - Lagoona Blue.

Excellent pigmentation and stays in place
This creme body paint is fantastic especially for longer-wear use, like cosplay! We got the Amazon Green shade for an Elphaba costume and it was absolute perfection. It gives SOLID coverage in one or two coats without feeling cakey, and the color was just super vibrant and easy to blend. It also melts off like butter when it's time to take it off, no staining (at least for this shade and some of the others we've tried). We’re big fans of Mehron in general, their quality is always great, so this wasn't particularly surprising for us, but even still. Easy to apply, great pigmentation, and long-lasting. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for reliable, vibrant body paint!

Stays Put, Just Don't Get IT Wet!
Overall, this is a pretty great product. It goes on very smoothly with the right sponge, and only needs about 2 or 3 quick layers to be opaque. Once it dries, you can rub your face with your fingers, and it will barely budge with little to no rub-off. Magical. The huge downside is that, no matter what I finished it with, ANY amount of liquid will cause it to instantly run or rub off. I did a skull pattern on my face for a cosplay with the Mehron Paradise Black/White, and the black got into my waterline (my fault) and caused the corner of my eye to freak out (I have sensitive eyes). It ended up dripping all day in that corner, and that slight amount of liquid kept removing any amount of black/white paint in the corner. Aside from this though, if it doesn't get wet, it will stay on all day without fail, just make sure you put on a primer to control oil and you're golden. Pros: -Unlike other Mehron products, this is VERY gentle on skin, I didn't break out at all, and I have very sensitive skin -Breathable -Creamy -Smells like Coconut -Very easy to remove with face wash and water, no makeup remover or heavy scrubbing needed -Quite Pigmented, especially the black shade -If no liquid touches it, it stays on all day Cons: -Biggest con is if any liquid touches it, it will start coming off quickly -Unless you use the right sponge, it can be tricky to apply evenly -I read that this will last for 30+ applications. I used this for 6 faces/some neck, though I applied it very opaquely, and I can see the bottom of the container, about 1/4 of the container or less is left All in all, for a first-time user, this worked out better than I thought it would. It has some pretty horrible cons, but the pros definitely outweigh them enough for me to still give this product 4 stars.

Super pigmented and long lasting
I used the Mehron Paradise Makeup in Light Pink for my Persephone cosplay, and it worked really well for me! I will admit it did take me a long time to put on - maybe 2-2.5 hours for the body paint and then an additional 1/2-1 hour for the makeup on top, but it was worth taking my time on. After applying a layer with a brush I would wait for it to dry, spray liberally with the Mehron barrier spray, wait for that to dry, then add the Mehron setting powder. The setting powder in particular is a lifesaver, as it really seems to smooth out streakiness in paint application. Once all that was even I would add another layer. On my arms there were probably 2-3 layers of paint and on my face probably more. One thing that I would say, if you are planning on adding powder on top of the body paint (highlighter, eyeshadow, etc.) it's really important to do so with a light touch, as I cracked a little bit of the body paint on my face while adding makeup over it and it was a pain to touch up. Also, always remember to put your contacts in first before you start any of the painting process lol. As I found with my contest, it's really hard to put contacts in when you are covered in pink. It took a while to put on, but a couple people came up to me during the convention and said that it was the smoothest application of body paint that they had seen at a convention, so totally worth the time! As you can see it's very pigmented and hardly transferred to my white clothes. I was very careful not to get any water on me or sweat during the convention and the paint stayed pretty much perfect the 7 hours I wore it. The only transfer to my clothes occurred on my bra and a little bit on skin-side of my white cape, and was pretty minimal, considering. I put them in the wash and it came right out. The pink mostly washes off your skin in the shower, but I would suggest scrubbing a little. It seemed to stain a little bit on my underarms and the backs of my arms, but that could just be because I didn't scrub those areas as thoroughly. It was definitely all gone after I showered again the next day. Mostly I would just suggest being slow and deliberate during application, use lots of barrier spray and setting powder, don't add too much water to your brush, and keep cool while wearing. The result looks great!

Pigmented and easy-to-use!
I use the black and the white for different things so I’ve separated the reviews below: BLACK: I started using this as eyeliner and I will never go back. I’m a drag artist and I do a lot of graphic liner looks, so I needed something that was highly pigmented, easy-to-use, and would last all night through multiple performances. This checked all of those boxes and exceeded all expectations. I could not be more thrilled. It takes a couple tries to figure out how much water to add to get the consistency you need (I just added drops with whatever brush I’m using) but once you get there it it so easy to use. I can draw fine lines and fill in larger spaces with perfect opacity and without having to layer the product. I have the hooded eye curse, so I typically draw my liner above my crease and fill in the lid (as in all three photos). I have to set the liner with black shadow when I’m finished so it won’t crease, but I’ve had to do that with every liner I’ve ever used, so that’s not a fault of this product. WHITE: I also use this brand for my white liner and love it. It’s hard to find a white liner with enough opacity and this one does wonderfully. I also love that you don’t need to load up the brush to achieved the opacity you want. So many white liners are thick and gloopy and hard to work with, but this one is delightfully light and easy to use. However, it will definitely pick up the pigmented of whatever you apply it over, so be prepared to either layer the white or remove the pigmented shadow first. I’m lazy and usually just layer. It’s also difficult to blend out the edges if that’s the look you’re going for. I typically have to use a white powder and much repeated blended with my fingers to get any kind of diffused edge (see the Tiger makeup undereye). Honestly I usually don’t have time or am too lazy to do that so I either avoid diffusing the edges or settle for weirdly diffused edges (it’s stage makeup so no one really notices). All that being said. I still love using the white because of the opacity, the texture, and because it’s not as expensive as other white liners that are gloopy and transparent.

Buy the primer too!
Great color and long-lasting. I bought this for a grinch costume and it was a hit! This was my first time using this type of body paint and there was a bit of a learning curve. I found that using my fingers was the most effective as a brush and sponge tended to wipe off the color. I didn’t realize that I needed a primer to protect against staining my skin but just went for it. I used the setting spray from this brand and it lasted from 7 pm - 1 am no problem. The last photo was taken after 1 am. It didn’t feel tight or heavy on my skin and I often forgot I was wearing it. Removal was a chore but what worked the best was smearing on Vaseline and gently rubbing in circles with my fingertips until the color dissolved.

Difficult to apply to large area well
Not sure how this is meant to be applied in large areas. I tried with both a beauty blender, fingers, and brush and it would be streaky or inconsistent no matter what. It may not be an issue with the product, just not be suited to beginners or people trying to paint their entire face. The color was pretty and didn’t rub off much when it was on and it did change color under UV light as advertised.

perfecto
