My Beauty Diary Mask Bird's Nest, 10 Piece

Reason for purchase:Wanted to see what the hype was all about and to see if the serum in these products were really that good. Also, heard from other reviewers that the amount serum used in these mask was a lot so I found another use described in my review for these masks.My Impression:After using so many types of Hyaluronic acid serums, I can say that whatever serum they put in these products are worth the $$$. When you touch the serum that's in the mask it feels like there is silicon but there isn't so the serum spreads easily and literally gets absorbed into the face with ease. Another great thing about this serum it's paraben and fragrance FREE.One way that I make full use of these masks is that instead of using the mask itself I squeeze out all the serum in the mask and place the serum in a container and just use it as a daily night mask (without the mask of course ;). I was able to get around ~4/5oz of serum from all the masks for which if you've bought serums in a bottle before usually costs ~$30/oz. I plan to use this trick for all my future masks so I'm getting my money's worth in serum and moisturizing. After one night, my face looked plumped and glowing from the serum which was a huge surprise but then again I used it over night =DPlease note: I bought from Amazon directly to avoid any forgeries/ fakes, I recommend that everyone do the same. It gives you peace of mind when using this product. It's getting harder to tell the fakes from real ones from other 3rd party sellers.

I love these sheet masks! I had been using the Dermal brand and decided to try something a little nicer and I will probably never go back after trying these! I have very sensitive skin, so I am always wary about trying new products, but the Aloe Vera sheet masks from My Beauty Diary are very soothing and my face felt very fresh and hydrated after using this mask! These are a lot thinner than the Dermal brand, and are also a better shape/style for my face than anything else I've tried. However, I think my favorite thing about these sheet masks is the smell. Like I said, I have very sensitive skin and fragrances often bother me, but these definitely didn't and they smell AMAZING. Highly recommend!

Not super moisturizing, but its not drying either and these masks totally brighten and even out my skin tone. I have some red patches on my face and I just use these once a week, and as long as its consistent my skin is way more even looking. These things have a ridiculous amount of serum in them though, so I've started taking the leftover stuff in the bottom of the empty package and dumping it into an empty container to use like a regular serum, which helps my skintone stay more even. These are a little large for my face but Ive found that they stick just fine anyways and I can fold the mask in a certain way so it's alright. I've found this even slightly helps my acne out, which is a bonus. Definitely my holy grail sheet mask.

Definitely had an allergic reaction from this. I patch tested, waited 24 hours, had no reaction. Then I used the mask and as soon as I took it off my skin was super itchy. I actually ended up washing my face again to try to get a clean slate. This morning I woke up with a multiple new spots on my forehead. Not sure what ingredient I reacted to. Bummed out, this always has so many good reviews. YMMV as always.

I used the previous version of this mask for two years and was delighted that it actually lightened my melasma, just as promised, and was surprisingly moisturizing for its texture. This "updated 2015 version" doesn't seem as good, though. Not only has the amount of arbutin (the active ingredient) been seriously reduced, but it also seems less moisturizing than the previous version. What a pity.

Dry skin face owner here.I don't like most face masks, but I love these ones! The skin is refreshed and relaxed after using them. They are soaked in essence and you can reuse some of the left over product the next day or on your neck/chest area.. or hands.Pro tip: keep them on for 30 minutes+. That's when you really see the benefits.

I really can't tell the difference between the various types of MBD that I've tried since they seem so similar, this one seemed a tiny bit better in hydration but really you can't go wrong with whichever you choose. Each mask contains a crazy amount of essence - You'll have enough leftover to slather on your arms and upper body! I would not recommend trying to save the essence at all, since it isn't formulated to keep once its been opened - You'll probably be safe the day after but that's all I'll say. It's a good product for the price point and if you like having a crazy amount of essence you'll be over the moon with this!

Can I just say how much I feel appreciated when the seller emailed me about this product and if I liked it or not? Never really have someone email me asking me how it went....pretty cool if you ask me. Anyhoo, this product does what it suppose to do, moisturize. The only con I have with this mask is how small it is. This mask is definitely for people who have a smaller face which I wish it wasn't b/c it's a good mask.
