Q: What kind of fabric is this chair?

The fabric has changed from 2022 to 2023. Older 2022 chairs had much better quality suede type fabric. This is the material you will see in the original youtube reviews for this chair from 2021 etc. New 2023 chairs have much cheaper, thinner fabric with a mesh pattern. It is thin, scratchy, and easily stretches. You can tell the difference between the revisions because the 2023 version has 4D arm rests, two-piece arms for the base, and much lower quality material with a mesh weave. Don't be fooled by the original high quality material. It is gone.

Q: I'm about 5'2 and a half... how likely is it my feet will/won't touch the ground?

So I'm 5'9 and my desk is 29 and a half inches tall. When I have my chair at the highest position, measuring from the top of the seat cushion to the floor is like 17 and a half inches. My feet touch the ground. If the chair is at the very lowest position, measuring from the top of the cushion to the floor is like 15 and a half inches. At that point my knees come up a bit from the cushion. Not sure if that's at all helpful info, but hopefully the measurements give you a better idea of what to expect. FYI I swapped my wheels out for rubber ones and they're just slightly larger than the default wheels.

Q: Who pays for returns shipping?

Maybe you but sometimes the seller will foot the bill. I returned a similar chair and they took care of the shipping. I'd t try to verify before purchasing.
