Q: I will like to use this for a cruise, How was it attached into the door??

it is not attached to the door the attached hooks hang on top of the door. you simply have to lay the hooks on top of the door and done, no screws or drilling required.

Q: Would the hooks fit over 1-7/8” thick door?

I have the unit hanging on a 1 7/8 inch door. It works well.

Q: Can I get replacement hooks?

I think only the seller can answer that. I’ve never seen replacements sold alone anywhere.
