Elegant and erudite. A luxurious read.
This book is a pleasure to read from the first sentence to the last. It is dense with information about rabbits in our culture and society, but it is not overwhelming. The author clearly loves and understands these precious souls. This book offers fascinating information and insights regarding these most lovable and alluring creatures. With the exception of literature intended to provide practical guidance for anyone wanting to bring a rabbit into her life, this is by far the most beautiful book I have read about them.It is ideal for anyone with an affinity or love of rabbits.

A great gift for young and old
A fun book, really well researched and gracefully written. I don't think I ever realized how ubiquitous rabbits are in our culture and art. Recommended for any rabbit- or animal- or nature-fancier from high school up.

A Gem!
The Way of the Rabbit is much more than one might, at first, imagine. The coverage was magnificently inclusive. I was completely enthralled by each and every chapter. The vivid language instantly transported me to another world. What a glorious escape! The use of imagery was simply illustrious, yet not overkill. Conversely, the author has a unique ability to know when imagery is not necessary. I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't benefit from reading this book. It brought me to tears. Yes, it was that good!

Pure joy.
I always feel a childlike joy when I see a rabbit in the wild. This book made me love them even more, and made me realize what magic it is that now and then I can still spot a wild rabbit even in my overdeveloped surroundings.
