Q: Pic shows pocket & safety strap 4 collar but in ?'s & reviews ppl say there aren't any & say there's velcro to go around dog? even seller says no?!

There are no pockets. There is a strap to hook to dogs harness. There is a Velcro thing in the bottom but I’ve never used it. I doubt my dog would like being strapped in. It actually looks too small to be if any good. It’s a great carrier. I love it and my dog does too. I put it on and then lower myself to her level and she crawls right in.

Q: How would a cat do in it?

Yes your cat should fit fine if she is not too small.

Q: Just purchased this... no instructions, my dog cant walk/ move. How do i secure him in?

I used a harness on my dog which connects to a tether with a metal clasp built into the one end of the sling. While the dog is free to still move inside the sling the tether together with the harness ensure it won’t fall. Do not connect the tether to a collar. That would pose a choking risk if the dog were to fall out. I ride my bike with my dog in the sling and he has never fallen out.
