Simple to connnect and use
This adapter works flawlessly with the Nexus power station and solar panels.Very easy to set up and use.If there was one thing I would have liked to have it would be a small led display indicating status and wattage input from the solar panels. The only indicators this has is a blinking green light if it is charging and a solid red light if there is a problem. Makes it a bit more difficult to troubleshoot without any information other than the lights.

Worked as advertized, very pleased.
I had never hooked up a solar panel before. This unit to drive charge into an eGo power pack worked great, the first time. And it gives peace of mind knowing that it was engineered for these eGo devices and a solar panel. I got mine working fine with Renogy 2PCS Solar Panels 100 Watt (a 2 pack).

Don't Forget to Order a Pair of Solar Branch Connectors to Attach in Parallel (Not Series)
This works, replacing the charger that comes with the unit to sit on top (with straps). I got two of the recommended 100W Renogy solar panels. You can attach just one easily but it's very slow to charge up the batteries. I then had to order a pair of solar branch connectors made for parallel connection (not series) as recommended by the EGO website. (FMM+MFF (1 Pair)) I wish I had known to order that along with the other items at the time so I wanted to give everyone a heads up. Since Renogy was out of that parallel type I got connectors by a competitor and it worked. Running them both to the charger, it should make a significant increase in charging time. But it's still fairly slow and you need good sun. Still, nice to have the option for emergencies or just because you can! You can operate the EGO power station only after disconnecting the solar set-up. Sidenote: You don't need 4 batteries for the EGO power station to work. So far, I have two because they are so expensive but will probably get more.

Luv it but
Works great. Would be nice if it itself had usb ports on it as a pass through to charge in real time.

It works--just plug 'n' play!
I use this module to keep my EGO batteries charged using sunlight. It's simply plug 'n' play and takes only a few minutes to set up.It could be better--handling more power for a faster charge--and it could be cheaper, but there's a lot to be said for a solar product you just connect and it works...

Didn't work at all.
I bought the ego solar charger (CH1800) but it never worked. Not even on one occasion. I called the number on the back of the unit and after over an hour on the phone testing things together, the EGO representative promised to send me a replacement under warranty. He had me send a photo of my amazon receipt and everything. I never received a replacement or even a tracking number. I have sent several requests to find out when I might receive this part but no one even replies to my emails, I can not get someone to answer the phone again at customer service, and no luck on contacting them via FB. I'm stuck with a defective part.

Other reviews are right
I like it, but it’s expensive and the odd 180watt max wattage makes me uneasy about stacking two 100watt solar panels. However I did end up pairing this with two renology 100watt panels because it seemed as if the sunlight threshold in which the nexus powerstation would turn on and start charging was pretty much midday with just one 100watt panel. So when I put two in parallel, it starts charging sooner, earlier in the morning and later into the evening, so I feel I get more benefit. However, I really do not like the fact I have to unplug the cable in order to switch the nexus to power supply mode. If there’s a little bit of sunlight, the powerstation will stick to thinking it wants to charge, and there is no toggle (to my knowledge ) other than unplugging the solar charger, to get the station to switch. Yes this means it also doesn’t allow for charging and supply at once.
