It does exactly what it’s supposed to
This is a really well made tool initial set up required but everything needed is in the boxOnce set up this tool cuts a perfect cylindrical dowel end to a Christmas tree trunk, it does require a very powerful drill with plenty of torque to power it
User
Good quality, good value
Nice quality tool, cheaper than the Veritas version but just as good

Awesome tenon cutter!
Extremely good quality. Make a tenon in very short order. Pricey but worth it if you are cutting a lot of tenons.

Workhorse
Used this tool to cut a couple hundred tenon in hickory picketts for a playground. It work very well but the blades did drift slightly during use. I recommend a powerful corded drill and periodically checking the tenon diameter. Having a test mortise handy is a good idea to keep your results consistent. Very solidly made and easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone working on rustic furniture or construction.

Read product reviews and instructions, first!
I make canes from Jacaranda branches. This tool makes it easy and quick to cut the 3/4” tenon on the end. A little light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper avoila, it’s done and perfect for 3/4” rubber tips.

it appears to be an awesome tool. Even with the right power
it appears to be an awesome tool. Even with the right power, after clamping down the twig or log, this spins and hops out of control. Its a joke. Big waste of money. Terrible design. Maybe I am retarded and am doing it all wrong. If I am then give me 5 stars for being stupid.

Instructions are wrong for the TTR0750 maybe others too.
Cuts way more aggressively then I could imagine! Blade Offset (Spacing) is Critical to getting the correct diameter and a good Tenon shape! Instructions are wrong for the TTR0750 and probably others as well. Page 5 “Tip” says “The cardboard box that the tool comes in is about 3/16””Remove a piece of the box to use as a quick spacer for blade setting”. This is incorrect. The box the tool came in was about 1/16”. This set the blade way too close and ruined the tenon. Try on scrap until you get the blade adjusted right.
