Classy product! Beautiful solution
Easy to put on. The flecks truly make this look spectacular! It really was a fantastic alternative to purchasing a new countertop. It really gave a facelift to our kitchen. I would say that this takes a painter with moderate experience or at least an eye for detail and finesse. We picked Lodestone to match our grey kitchen aid appliances. Great color match! It also covers far with many coats! Shown are our before and after pictures. We had a very used laminate countertop (when we moved in). One order provided way more than enough coverage for our approximately 30 sq ft countertop. We did allow it to cure for a full week. It does tend to leave food rings if you donโt wipe it within a reasonable amount of time. So far the durability has been pretty good, but it will show scratches. Overall, very happy!! Definitely recommend this product! We plan to have this multiple years. Thanks for a great project!

I now love my kitchen!!!
I was looking for a solution for my ugly backsplash ( small glass and copper, and brown tiles) and red and gray countertops. I first, covered the backsplash with peel and stick tile in a grayish beige color. My kitchen looked some better but I still wasn't a fan of the dark countertops with the already dark cabinets. I saw Speadstone by Daich on youtube. I watched several videos on the application process as well reviews. I felt like this product was doable so I bought the kit in Natural White. I took my time to read the directions that came with the kit. Then I applied the product. It was very easy to apply. You definitely need to either tape off the kitchen or have a sander that collects dust well (mine didn't) or it will take a few days to get rid of all of the dust out of your home. Other than that, it was a fun process. I absolutely have fallen in love with my kitchen. The countertops are so beautiful with the different colors from the stones ( It's not too much). My kitchen is so much brighter!!! I believe that countertops will last for a very long time. The material is very hard once it dries. I was considering paying a big box home improvement store a couple of thousand to replace my counters. I'm so glad I tried SpreadStone, first!!! With the new countertops, my original backsplash looks so much better ( I still may paint the backsplash, who knows). You can change your countertop yourself!! Go for it!

A little work, a great result!
Our manufactured home kitchen cabinets were in perfect condition but the laminate countertop was worn in a few places. There was also a wood border around the laminate that had wear in the sink area. We went to Home Depot to order new countertops ($1200 installed). When the installation company called, they said they couldnโt do the job because the cabinets need to be shored up or they will literally fall apart when the countertops are removed. The Daich Spread-stone Mineral Select Countertop Finishing Kit solved the problem for $200 bucks. The project came out beautiful. It wasnโt too difficult for us, we followed the video advice carefully. We did have to purchase more sandpaper and rollers but they warned that might be the case. We went right over the warn wood edges and it looks amazing!

Good stuff I think
First, ignore the grossness that is this kitchen. Iโm rehabbing a rental. Review: I think I like this. Iโve never used anything like it before. It coated well and gave me the ability to match my kitchen and bathroom counters. It seemed to work better in my bathroom and I donโt know why. I had hoped the clear coat would be thicker and glossier. Tips: 1. I used my own roller after first trying the one that came in the kit. It worked better. 2. When you add step 2 (the rocky coat) you have to keep mixing it up (after REALLY mixing it before you start), and really dunk your roller to the bottom of the pan. 3. After step 2, I used the 120 grit sand paper from the kit and then my own 220 and I liked the finish better. 4. Donโt use the brush anywhere other than corners or places the roller really wonโt reach or youโll leave brush marks. 5. I waited a full day between steps (but only the stated hours between coats of each step) because I had the windows open and it was cold, and I was paranoid about rushing. 6. I did not tape off in steps 2 and 3 because I wanted the finish to meet the wall. Weโre also painting the entire condo, so Iโll tape off the new counters and caulk and clean up where the counter meets the wall.

Easy affordable way to update that old laminate countertop
Easy weekend project with amazing results! Clear directions and helpful video on YouTube make this a fun stress free update. Can't speak to the durability since we just finished it yesterday. Did have to go to the hardware store for more sandpaper ( they only give you 1 course and 1 fine sheet in the kit). Also said there should have been a mask to wear during sanding and there was not however not a problem since we had extra unused covid masks. Easy cleanup and looks great! Could not be happier with the results!

I love it!
I haven't applied the top clear coating yet but I'm so impressed, I had to leave a review. We have 48 square feet of 3 inch thick concrete countertop. The countertop was never properly sealed and developed stains that I tried everything to remove and couldn't. First, I was nervous that 50 square feet of product wouldn't be enough for this job. Not the case. I was able to apply 3 base coats, 2 stone coats and I still have leftover product. I did this while my husband was at work and when he got home I thought he was going to kill me because he thought I had new countertops installed. While applying I had to stop many times because I have 2 little boys. No issue with stopping and restarting! I do recommend purchasing 2 extra small plastic painting trays and extra high quality paint brushes. The 4 roller pads that came with the product were the perfect amount. I'll update my review after I finish the 2 top coats but so far I'm extremely impressed! I took a huge risk with this because removing thick concrete countertops would have been a disaster. My cabinets are a dark Java and the Oyster kit looks stunning.

Very good alternate to new counter tops
This was intended to stave off new countertops for several years - so far it looks like it'll do the job. I put this on my kitchen countertops about 5 months ago. It still looks really good. It has resisted staining, but I haven't tried anything extreme. The surface isn't glass smooth - it's textured. I suppose I could have spent more time sanding, but I only wanted the kitchen down for so long. I'm very happy with the finish - the durability and the color (Onyx Fog). It makes a nice contrast with the white cupboards and appliances. This color is a grey, not beige. The color was important due to the flooring being grey. You can see the color and texture a little in the pictures. I used an orbital sander for this job. I went out and bought an inexpensive palm sander just for this job. Consider it part of the materials needed.

Great product. I'm really happy with it
Used this to refresh kitchen benchtop for a little project during Covid lockdown and I am very pleasantly surprised. Love the result and it was fairly easy to use. I just followed the instructions and it was quite easy. Only been done just over a week but so far so good.

Great!
For 250 dollars and some elbow grease. I'm very pleased! User friendly. Excuse the pictures we're in the middle of updating this entire kitchen.

Works well and lasts.
Applied this to our countertops. Is a bit messy to apply but has been fantastic at rejuvinating the kitchen for a small cost.

Countertop
Great product went on easily and and the finished look fantastic. The only problem was with the shipping it took a week longer to get here which was a problem in that this was a timed project

Mostly good
This is an amazing product, quite strong. And easy to apply. Only problem was when I left a cutting board on the countertop and water was underneath it, it discoloured the spreadstone. So I have to redo this area. Other that that great product.
