ZOOB BuilderZ 500 Piece Kit

I got these for my 4 grandsons, ages 6, 8, 9 and 10, and they love them! They have put together many Lego sets but after they take them apart the pieces are all jammed into bins and seldom used to rebuild anything. There are instructions for 50 builds in this kit and the boys followed directions at first, then went off on their own creations. All four play without fighting over or running out of pieces (set of 500) and they separate them into bins for the next day of play.

I liked that this product came in large quantities. It makes replacing the broken ones a breeze.

I started out with a smaller 250 piece set, then the creepy crawlies set, then the automotive set. Since the kids simply could not get enough of the toys or run out of imaginative creations, we bought the 500 piece set, which is the most value for money.Do note that the pieces can stretch and then not fit as snugly and even break off. But I blame my rambunctious boys!

I love that this is a free form playing activity. Our son goes to a Montessori Academy and they have this, so naturally he wanted to play with it at home as well. It's wonderful because you can make just about anything with them including bridges that swing, and dinosaurs that move! As a family we've enjoyed using the various instruction guides to build things along with just fun free form building. Highly recommend Zoob and specifically the big box because everyone can join in on the fun without feeling like you don't have enough pieces to build your masterpiece with. :)
