How long does one game last?

It’s hard to put a time length on this. It depends on the number of players and the number of properties bought and built on, who has the most monopolies and money. You can stop the game at any point with the agreement of all players. I’d say a minimum of 2 hours.

what is the difference between this one and the other one I see, it's being sold for more money and it's the same game?

My 6 year old grandson loves to play regular Monopoly. Would this game too difficult or a great next step?

i disagree. i bought this for my 6 year old son for christmas b/c he can read and plays a lot of games for older kids. and he loves regular monopoly. but it was so complicated, my 77 year old mother and i couldn't even figure it out :(
