I've used really all different types - bandaid, masking tape, silicone tip cover, no cover. This is seriously the best tip that makes it feel like you are actually writing. I use the paper-like cover and the tip works well with it. Today is my first day using and I don't write a lot - just highlighting and taking small notes on lecture slides. I will see how long this lasts.

after using these for a few days, the tip starts to wear down and eventually a hole develops on the tip.

What I love about these nib protectors is that they are fine-tipped and made of a firm-enough material that's low-friction, but soft enough that it feels like writing on a couple sheets of notebook paper with a ballpoint. I'm a student and I use my iPad for school. Between note-taking and highlighting my text books I was going through Apple Pencil tips pretty quickly (or so it seemed to me) needing a new one about every two weeks or so. Another cheaper brand were soft and rubbery and really added bulk to the tip of the pencil so I had a difficult time seeing where I was writing, and almost felt to me like I was writing with a bullet-shaped eraser on a wood pencil.

It’s not useful at all, Line is shaky and sometimes it doesn’t work you have to press on the pencil.. Money waste!!

Work well but they squeak when going across the page

It’s so nice! I was just griping about how I hated having the screen protector I got because it make my screen too smooth and it was a bit of a struggle for me to do lineart. But these covers have made it so much better! Also the colors are wonderful. I love that there’s a choice.

Makes your tapping quiet so as not to bother others in the area.

I brought these to protect the tip of my apple pencil. I use a matte screen protector for drawing on my iPad and within weeks the tip of my pencil had worn down. Not wanting to constantly have to replace it or take my protector off, I purchased these hoping I could keep the paper like feel while protecting the tip of my pencil. It is working as accurately as ever and even after a few weeks there is minimal wear on the first one I have used. Great value for money

I use these on my tablet with paperlike cover on it, the feel is very good but they just don't last very long. I understand that the screen protector shortens its usability but I am not sure I am actually saving that much money going through these so fast. It protects my pen tip from wearing off but then again, if I have to keep buying these I am not sure it's cheaper this way.
